Corps Commander Quetta Lieutenant General Sarfraz Ali And 5 Other Senior PAK ARMY Officers Embraced Martyrdom In Helicopter Crash During Flood Relief Operation Near Lasbela In Balochistan:

Corps Commander Quetta Lieutenant General Sarfraz Ali and 5 other Senior Officers of PAKISTAN ARMY Embraced Martyrdom in Helicopter crash during Flood Relief Operation near Lasbela, Balochistan on Monday, 1st Augusts, 2022, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement. 

“The wreckage of unfortunate helicopter which was on flood relief ops found in Musa Goth, Windar, Lasbela. All 6 offrs & sldrs incl Lt Gen Sarfraz Ali embraced shahadat. اِنّا لِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ,” DG ISPR said. 

“Helicopter Crash occurred due to bad weather as per initial investigations,” DG ISPR added.

Corps Commander Quetta Lt. General Sarfraz Ali Shaheed and 5 other senior PAKISTAN ARMY Officers were en route to Lasbela for flood relief operation, when their Helicopter crashed near Sassi Pannu Shrine due to bad weather near Lasbela, Balochistan.

The Helicopter lost contact with the Air Traffic Control on Monday evening and went missing. PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES immediately dispatched the rescue teams to Search and Rescue operation and the rescue teams of PAK ARMY found the wreckage of the crashed helicopter near Lasbela and all PAK ARMY Officers, including Corps Commander Quetta Lieutenant General Sarfraz Ali embraced Martyrdom.

According to the Deputy Inspector General Khuzdar Parvez Imrani, the area where Helicopter wreckage was found consists of mountain ranges, which created difficulties in Search and Rescue Operation.

Corps Commander Quetta Lieutenant General Sarfaz Ali Shaheed and 5 other Senior PAKISTAN ARMY Officers were onboard the Helicopter for supervising the Flood Relief Operation, when it went missing and crashed near Lasbela.

The crash reportedly took place between Windar and the Sassi Punnu Shrine in Balochistan.

  6. Naik Mudassir Fayyaz Shaheed (Helicopter Crew)

All these 6 Brave and Valiant Sons of this Sacred Country PAKISTAN Embraced Martyrdom in line of duty, while serving their Brave PAKISTANI Nation.

All the 6 Brave and Valiant PAKISTAN ARMY Officers lost their Lives for the Sake and Defense of their Sacred Country PAKISTAN and its Brave and Resilient Nation.

It’s a huge loss for the Sacred Country PAKISTAN and PAKISTAN ARMY as whole, as it lost 6 Brave and Valiant Patriotic Sons of this Sacred Country PAKISTAN.

  1. Corps Commander Quetta Lieutenant General Sarfraz Ali Shaheed:

Corps Commander Quetta Lieutenant General Sarfraz Ali Shaheed, the Senior PAK ARMY Officer who embraced Martyrdom in a Helicopter crash during Flood Relief Operation in Balochistan, was commissioned to 6th AZAD KASHMIR Regiment back in March 1989.

Corps Commander Quetta Lieutenant General Sarfraz Ali Shaheed was a veteran Military Personnel and a Patriot Soldier of this Sacred Country PAKISTAN that has conducted numerous Counter-terrorism operations during the ongoing war against indian and iranian state sponsored terrorism in Sacred Country PAKISTAN.

In recognition of his Services to his Sacred Country PAKISTAN, the Corps Commander Quetta Lieutenant General Sarfraz Ali Shaheed was awarded Tamgha-i-Basalat for his Gallantry Acts in the Battlefield.

Corps Commander Quetta Lieutenant General Sarfraz Ali Shaheed, a Native of Lahore, served PAKISTAN ARMY for 33 Years and he is survived by his Wife, Three Sons and Three Daughters.

 

  1. Director General PAKISTAN COAST GUARD Major General Amjad Hanif Shaheed:

Director General PAKISTAN COAST GUARD Major Amjad Hanif Shaheed, who got Martyred during Flood Relief Operations in Balochistan in a Helicopter crash, hailed from the Rawalakot, AZAD KASHMIR and commissioned in the 19th AZAD KASHMIR Regiment back in April 1994.

Major Director General PAKISTAN COAST GUARD Major Amjad Hanif Shaheed served his Sacred Country PAKISTAN for 29 Years.

 

  1. Commandant 12 Corps Engineer Brigadier Muhammad Khalid:

Commandant 12 Corps Engineer Brigadier Muhammad Khalid Shaheed embraced Martyrdom in a Helicopter crash during Flood Rescue Operation in Balochistan.

Commandant 12 Corps Engineer Brigadier Muhammad Khalid Shaheed hailed from Faisalabad and got commissioned in the 20 Engineer Battalion of PAKISTAN ARMY back in 1994.

Commandant 12 Corps Engineer Brigadier Muhammad Khalid Shaheed survived by the three Daughters and Three Sons.

Pilot Major Saeed Shaheed hailed from Larkana, Sindh and survived with a Son and a Daughter.

 

  1. Co-Pilot Major Muhammad Talha Shaheed:

Co-Pilot Major Muhammad Talha Shaheed embraced Martyrdom in a Helicopter Crash in Lasbela during Flood and Relief Operation in Balochistan.

Co-Pilot Muhammad Talha Shaheed was married and survived by Two Sons.

 

  1. Crew Chief Naik Mudassir Fayyaz Shaheed:

Crew Chief Naik Mudassir Fayyaz Shaheed embraced Martyrdom during a helicopter crash during Flood and Relief Operation in Balochistan.

Crew Chief Naik Mudassir Fayyaz Shaheed was the resident of Narowal and survived by his wife.
