PAK ARMY Lieutenant General Asim Malik hold the Command of Beloved Peace Loving Sacred PAKISTAN’s Most Powerful, Potent and Most Feared Intelligence Agency INTER-SERVICES INTELLIGENCE (ISI) as the Director General INTER-SERVICES INTELLIGENCE (DG ISI) with immediate Effect on Monday, 30th September 2024, PAK MILITARY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said in an Official Statement.

 Lt. Gen. Asim Malik will take charge as the new chief of Beloved Peace Loving Sacred PAKISTAN’s INTER-SERVICES INTELLIGENCE (ISI) on, Monday 30th Sep 2024, exactly a week after he was picked to head the powerful spy agency. He will replace the existing DG ISI Lieutenant General Nadeem Anjum, who was serving the Head of ISI since 2021.

According to the Details, PAK ARMY Lieutenant General Asim Malik hold the Command of Beloved Peace Loving Sacred PAKISTAN’s Most Powerful, Potent and Most Feared Intelligence Agency INTER-SERVICES INTELLIGENCE (ISI) as the Director General INTER-SERVICES INTELLIGENCE (DG ISI) with immediate Effect on Monday, 30th September 2024, PAK MILITARY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said in an Official Statement.

The newly promoted DG ISI Lieutenant General Asim Malik, who was serving as an adjutant general at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Beloved Peace Loving Sacred PAKISTAN’s Garrison city of Rawalpindi when his name was announced as the new head of the ISI last Monday, will be replacing Lt. Gen. Nadeem Anjum. His predecessor was appointed by then-prime minister Imran Khan in 2021.

Len Gen Asim Malik got commission in the PAK ARMY in September 1988, and he is currently serving as the Adjutant General at the General Headquarters (GHQ).

The newly promoted DG ISI Lieutenant General Asim Malik has previously commanded the Infantry Division in Balochistan and the Infantry Brigade in Waziristan. He was also posted as the Chief Instructor at the National Defence University (NDU) and as an Instructor at the Command and Staff College Quetta.

The newly promoted DG ISI Lieutenant General Asim Malik also headed Corps V in Karachi, commanded a brigade in Kurram Agency, led Frontier Corps (North) in Balochistan, and served as Commandant of Command and Staff College Quetta before becoming Karachi Corps Commander in December 2020.

In October 2021, the newly promoted DG ISI Lieutenant General Asim Malik was promoted to the rank of lieutenant general and appointed as the PAK ARMY’s adjutant general.

The newly promoted DG ISI Lieutenant General Asim Malik also received the Prestigious and Coveted Sword of Honor in his course for showing Extra-Ordinary performance in his course.
