PAK ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Asim Munir Embarks On An Maiden High-Profile Official Visit To Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia And United Arab Emirates To Boost Defense And Security Of Sacred Country PAKISTAN:
PAK ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Asim Munir embarked on an Official and Maiden High-profile and important visit to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and United Arab Emirates (UAE) from 4th to 10th January to further boost the Defense and Security relationship between Sacred Country PAKISTAN and other countries on Thursday, January 5, 2023, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said in an Official Statement.
During his visit to both KSA and UAE, the CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Asim Munir will meet with senior leadership of both countries to discuss matters of mutual interest, military cooperation, and bilateral relations focusing on security-related subjects.
In his first leg of the visit, the PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Asim Munir reaches Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
Upon arrival at the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the COAS General Asim Munir was warmly Welcomed, Received and Greeted by the Top Senior Saudi Arabia’s Security Officials.
Later, PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Asim Munir held One on One High-Profile and important meeting with the Saudi Arabia Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman.
During the meeting, the CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Asim Munir and the Saudi Arabia’s Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman discussed matters of ‘Professional and Mutual Interest’, including the ways to further strengthen the Bilateral Security and Defense relationships between both the ISLAMIC Countries.
“According to the ISPR, matters of mutual interest, regional stability and the security situation, Defense and security cooperation particularly military-to-military ties were discussed during the meeting,” DG ISPR said.
On the occasion, the CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Asim Munir and the Saudi Arabia’s Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman agreed in principle to emphasized the Strategic Partnership between the Two Brotherly ISLAMIC Countries.
Both the leaders also reviewed the Bilateral Security and Defense relationship and discuss ways to further explore the new domains for strengthening the Cooperation.
On the occasion, the Saudi Arabia Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman also acknowledged the Unmatched Sacrifices of PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES in their ongoing fight against iranian and indian state backed, state funded and state sponsored terrorism in Sacred Country PAKISTAN.
It is highly expected that the recent high-profile and important visit of the COAS General Asim Munir will further help to augment the bilateral Security and Defense relationship between the ARMED, NAVAL and AIR FORCES of both the Brotherly ISLAMIC Countries.
