PAKISTAN and CHINA Joint Anti-Terrorist Exercise JATE-2021 Kicks Off At National Counter Terrorism Centre Pabbi:
PAKISTAN and CHINA Joint Anti-Terrorist Exercise JATE-2021 Successfully kicks off at the National Counter Terrorism Centre Pabbi near Kharian on Thursday, September 23, 2021, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement.

According to the details released by the PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head, the Inter-Services Public Relations, PAKISTAN and CHINA Joint Anti-Terrorist Exercise is the first ever edition of Exercise that is being conducted as part of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Regional Anti-Terrorism Structure.
Special Operation Forces from PAKISTAN ARMY Special Services Group and PEOPLE’S LIBERATION ARMY Commandos are participating in the Exercise.
PAKISTAN ARMY Major General Javed Dost Chandio graced the opening ceremony of JATE-2021 as the Chief Guest.
The Joint Anti-Terrorist Exercise or JATE-2021 Exercise is conducting with aim to practice and master the art of various procedures, drills and tactics involved in the counterterrorism domain, including the compound clearance, medical evacuation, cordon and search and close quarter battle or CBQ.
The commencement of the Joint Anti-Terrorist Exercise JATE-2021 will significantly help to enhance the interoperability, synergy and professionalism among the Special Operation Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member countries.

The JATE-2021 Joint Counter Terrorism Exercise will help the SCO member countries for building the capacity and capability of Law Enforcement Agencies, practicing mechanisms to respond to a grave crisis situation and combatting international terrorism.
The PAKISTAN and CHINA Joint Anti-Terrorist Exercise JATE-2021 is being conducted in two different phases. The first phase was conducted back from July 26-31, 2021 in CHINA, while the stage two is being conducted at National Counter Terrorism Centre Pabbi near Kharian.
