PAKISTAN ARMY Appoints Former DG ISI And Corps Commander Peshawar Lieutenant General Faiz Hamid As New Corps Commander Bahawalpur With Immediate Effect:
PAKISTAN ARMY, the Custodians of the Sacred Country PAKISTAN, has appointed the Former DG ISI (INTER-SERVICES INTELLIGENCE) and Corps Commander Peshawar as the new Corps Commander Bahawalpur with immediate effect on Monday, August 8, 2022, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an Official statement.
According to the details, PAKISTAN ARMY has appointed the existing Corps Commander Peshawar Lieutenant General Faiz Hamid with immediate effect.
Lieutenant General Sardar Hassan Azhar Hayat will reportedly replace the existing Corps Commander Peshawar Lieutenant General Faiz Hamid, who will assume his new Command as Corps Commander Peshawar soon.
PAKISTAN ARMY has also appointed as Lieutenant General Khalid Zia as the Military Secretary PAKISTAN ARMY.
“The ISPR added that Lieutenant General Faiz Hamid has been posted as Bahawalpur Corps Commander, whereas Lieutenant General Khalid Zia was posted as Military Secretary of PAKISTAN ARMY,” ISPR said.
Last month, PAKISTAN ARMY, the custodians of the Sacred Country PAKISTAN, has promoted 32 Brigadiers of PAK ARMY to the Rank of Lieutenant General with immediate effect.
Those promoted include Brigadier Omer Naseem, Brigadier Syed Abbas Ali, Brigadier Muhammad Abbas, Brigadier Muhammad Shahid Abro, Brigadier Luqman Hafeez, Brigadier Mohammad Yasir Elahi, Brigadier Adeel Haider Minhas, Brigadier Syed Ali Raza, Brigadier Shahid Pervaiz, Brigadier Ahsan Waqas Kayani, Brigadier Azhar Yasin, Brigadier Qaisar Suleman, Brigadier Haroon Ishaq Raja, Brigadier Aamer Amin, Brigadier Haroon Hameed Chaudhary, Brigadier Waseem Iftikhar Cheema, Brigadier Muhammad Hussain, Brigadier Shoaib Bin Akram, Brigadier Kashif Khalil, Brigadier Kashif Abdullah, Brigadier Amjad Hanif, Brigadier Faisal Naseer, Brigadier Ahmad Kamal and Brigadier Saeedur Rehman Sarwar.
Those approved by PAK ARMY Medical Corps include Brigadier Tufail Ahmad, Brigadier Rizwan Sadiq, Brigadier Ijaz Ahmad, Brigadier Nadeem Fazal, Brigadier Shoaib Ahmed, Brigadier Tahir Masood Ahmad, Brigadier Waseem Ahmad Khan and Brigadier Sohail Sabir.
PAKISTAN ARMY has approved the appointment of all these 32 Brigadiers, including the Officers of PAKISTAN ARMY Medical Corps, to the rank of Major Generals with immediate effect.
