PAKISTAN ARMY Participates In Multinational Peace Mission 2021 Joint Exercise At Donguz Training Base In Russia:

PAKISTAN ARMY participated the Opening Ceremony of Peace Mission 2021 Multinational Joint Exercise under the umbrella and platform of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) held at the Donguz Training Area, Orenburg region in Russia on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement.

According to the details released by the Inter-Services Public Relations or ISPR, the Commander of Central Military District Russian Armed Forces Colonel General Alexander Pavlovich Lapin graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said that a TRI-ARMED SERVICES Contingent of PAKISTAN ARMY is participating in the Joint Multinational Military Drills being held at Donguz Training Base in Russia.

“Troops from all Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states are participating in the exercise under extremely challenging field environment. Belarus is taking part in the exercise as an observer,” DG ISPR said.

The Multinational Peace Mission 2021 Joint Military Exercise aimed at enhancing the professionalism and interoperability among the Troops of the participating nations in the domain of counter-terrorist operations.

The main aim of the Peace Mission 2021 Joint Military Drills is to improve the interoperability and coordination of the management bodies of the coalition group to conduct a joint massive anti-terrorist operations, to master the art of basic tactical techniques, exchange experience in the domain of counter terrorism and the method of forces under the leadership of the joint military administration body.

The recent participation of a full-fledge Military Contingent of PAKISTAN ARMY could be seen as another big step forward in the relationship between friendly country, PAKISTAN and Russia, whose ties has been strained for decades due to the cold war.

The military contingents of PAKISTAN, CHINA, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and india are participating in the Peace Mission Joint Military Drills. For the very first time, the military contingent of Belarus participating in the exercise as an Observer.

A total of 3,000-4,000 service along with their 600 units of weapons and special equipment are participating in the exercise.

The military units, administration and bodies of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are participating in the exercise with about 2,000 military personnel and about 350 units of military equipment and weapons.

Furthermore, the implementation of the various combat training tasks would also be carried out during the Peace Mission 2021 Multinational Drills along with the development of the military-political situation in the Central Asian region.

The troops of the participating countries will work out new ways, methods, strategies and techniques used by the indian sponsored international terrorist organizations and prevention of those attacks by the use of chemical, biological and combat Unmanned aerial vehicles.
