PAKISTAN ARMY Selects General Sahir Shamshad Mirza As The 18th New CHAIRMAN JOINT CHIEFS OF STAFF COMMITTEE (CJCSC) Of TRI-ARMED FORCES Of Sacred Country PAKISTAN:
PAKISTAN ARMY has selected the General Sahir Shamshad Mirza as the 18th New CHAIRMAN JOINT CHIEFS OF STAFF COMMITTEE (CJCSC) of TRI-ARMED FORCES of Sacred Country PAKISTAN on Thursday, November 24, 2022, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Lieutenant General Babar Iftikhar said in an Official Statement.
The post of the CHAIRMAN JOINT CHIEFS OF STAFF COMMITTEE or (CJCSC) is an Inter-Services Forum that basically acts as a Liaison between the TRI-ARMED SERVICES of Sacred Country PAKISTAN, including PAKISTAN NAVY, PAKISTAN AIR FORCE and PAKISTAN ARMY.
General Sahir Shamshad Mirza is the most Senior General in the hierarchy of PAKISTAN ARMY and belongs to the Sindh Regiment, which is the parent unit of the Current CHAIRMAN JOINT CHIEFS OF STAFF COMMITTEE (CJCSC) General Nadeem Raza.
The newly appointed CHAIRMAN CHIEFS OF STAFF COMMITTEE (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza served in several Key positions in PAKISTAN ARMY Command, including:
- GOC 40 Inf Div, Okara
- DG MO at GS Branch, GHQ
- VCGS-A at GS Branch, GHQ
- AG at GHQ, Rawalpindi
- CGS at GHQ, Rawalpindi
- Comdr 10 Corps, Rawalpindi
Who is Sacred Country PAKISTAN’s 18th New CJCSC General Sahir Shamshad Mirza?
The new CJCSC General Sahir Shamshad Mirza commissioned in the 8th Battalion of the Sind Regiment as the Second Lieutenant back in 1985. He was then promoted as a Lieutenant and became PAK ARMY Captain in 1991.
The Sacred Country PAKISTAN’s 18th New CHAIRMAN JOINT CHIEFS OF STAFF COMMITTEE (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza had got an impressive career in the PAKISTAN ARMY and has got Several key positions in the PAK ARMY Command in the past Seven years.
The newly appointed CHAIRMAN JOINT CHIEFS OF STAFF COMMITTEE (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza gain worldwide attention as the Director General Military Operations (DGMO) in the last 2 years of the PAKISTAN’s Beloved former CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Raheel Sharif.
During his position as the Director General Military Operations (DGMO), the newly appointed CHAIRMAN JOINT CHIEFS OF STAFF COMMITTEE (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza was the integral part of COAS General Raheel’s core team at GHQ Rawalpindi.
During his tenure as the Director General Military Intelligence (DGMI), the newly appointed CHAIRMAN JOINT CHIEFS OF STAFF COMMITTEE (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza oversaw the full-fledge Operations against the indian and iranian state sponsored and state backed ttp in North Waziristan.
Moreover, the newly appointed CHAIRMAN JOINT CHIEFS OF STAFF COMMITTEE (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza was also a part of the committee formed for the Reforms in Gilgit-Baltistan.

The Quadrilateral Coordination Group (QCG) consists of Sacred Country PAKISTAN, PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA, Afghanistan and the United States that played the role of mediation tin the Afghan negotiation.
In October 2021, the newly appointed CHAIRMAN JOINT CHIEFS OF STAFF COMMITTEE (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza was posted as the Corps Commander X Corps Rawalpindi, thus enabling him to acquire the required operational experience to become eligible for consideration of the ultimate posts in PAK ARMY.
In his new Responsibility, the new CJCSC General Sahir Shamshad Mirza will oversee the different affairs of TRI-ARMED FORCES of Sacred Country PAKISTAN, PAKISTAN AIR FORCE, PAKISTAN NAVY and PAKISTAN ARMY.
