PAKISTAN Russia Joint Friendship Drills DRUZHBA-V Enters Into 7th Day:
The DRUZHBA-V joint Friendship Drills between the Special Forces operators of PAKISTAN and Russia successfully enters into 7th day, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head Director General Inter-Services Public Relations said in an official Statement via the official Twitter Handler.
According to the details released by the PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing, the Special Forces Operators of Both PAKISTAN and Russian Federation are practicing airborne training, Heli Rappelling, Cordon, Search Operations and different procedures and drills for hostage rescue.

“PAKISTAN – Russian Federation Special Forces practicing drills & procedures for hostage rescue, cordon & search operations, heli rappelling and sky diving as part of DRUZHBA-V,” DG ISPR said in an official Tweet.
A video released by the ISPR showed that the Special Forces are taking part in different modules of the DRUZBHA-V Exercise.

It is pertinent to mention that a contingent of Russian Special Forces Operators ‘Spetsnaz’ arrived in PAKISTAN to participate in the fifth Edition of Joint Friendship Drills DRUZHBA with the Commandos of PAKISTAN ARMY’s Special Services Group, commonly known as SSG.
The Opening Ceremony of PAK-Russia Joint Friendship Drills DRUZHBA-V was held at Tarbela.

The Special Forces Operators of both PAKISTAN – Russia will engage in counterterrorism operations, unconventional joint military training, including Airborne Training, Hostage Rescue Operation. Cordon and Heli Rappelling Operations.

DRUZHBA-V Joint Friendship Drills exercise held at each year. This is the fifth consecutive edition of the DRUZBHA-V Joint Friendship Drills being held at Tarbela in PAKISTAN.

It is pertinent to mention that a contingent of PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES most recently participated in the Opening ceremony of Multinational Military Drills named as ‘KavKaz 2020’ in Astrakhan city of Russia.
