PAKISTAN Successfully Test-Fires Nuclear Capable Surface To Surface Ghaznavi Ballistic Missile:

PAKISTAN has successfully test fired Nuclear Capable Surface to Surface Ghaznavi Ballistic Missile, which is capable of delivering both Nuclear and Conventional warheads up to the range of 290 Kilometers, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement.

According to the press release by the ISPR, the training launch of Ghaznavi Ballistic Missile was the culminating point of the Annual Field Training Exercise of PAKISTAN ARMY Strategic Forces Command (ASFC).

The Ghaznavi Surface to Surface Ballistic Missile is fully capable to annihilate the pre-designated target up to the range of 290 Kilometers with pinpoint accuracy.

The Successfully training launch of Nuclear Capable Ghaznavi Ballistic Missile was witnessed by the Commander ARMY Strategic Forces Command (ASFC), Lieutenant General Muhammad Ali, Senior Officers from Army Strategic Forces Command (ASFC), Strategic Plans Division, Engineers and Scientists of the different strategic organization.

During the occasion, the Commander ARMY Strategic Forces Command (ASFC) Lieutenant General Muhammad Ali highly appreciated the professional expertise of the concerned officials in handling and operating the weapon system in an efficient manner.

Commander ARMY Strategic Forces Command (ASFC) expressed full satisfaction on the highest professional standards of PAKISTAN ARMY Troops and officials during that participation in the test launching activity.  

It is pertinent to mention that this is the second consecutive test of a Second Missile Test by PAKISTAN ARMY in a month.

Last month, PAKISTAN ARMY successfully test fires Nuclear capable Shaheen-3 Surface to Surface Ballistic Missile in the Arabian Sea. The Missile can easily hit the target up to the range of 2,750 Kilometers with pinpoint accuracy.

PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head ISPR said, “Flt test aimed at revalidating various design and tech parameters of the weapon system.”

The Successful test launch of the Surface to Surface Shaheen-3 Ballistic Missile was witnesses by the CHAIRMAN JOINT CHIEF OF STAFF COMMITTEE (CJCSC) General Nadeem Raza, Director General Strategic Plans Division, Commander ARMY Strategic Forces Command (ASFC), Chairman  National Engineering and Scientific Commission (NESCOM), Engineers, Scientists and other senior officials.

Shaheen-3 Ballistic Missile has a great significance as the Missile is fully capable to strike and annihilate the distant indian missile bases in Andaman and Nicobar islands.
