PAKISTAN Ordnance Factories or POF is PAKISTAN’s largest Defense Industrial Complex based in Wah Cantt, Rawalpindi. The PAKISTAN Ordnance Factories (POF) is run by PAKISTAN ARMY and it promotes and produces a wide range of indigenously developed Handguns, Pistols, Rifles, Infantry Weapons, Rockets, Mortars, Grenades, Explosives, Ammunition, Special Purpose Weapons and other military Gear for PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES, including the PAKISTAN ARMY, PAKISTAN NAVY and PAKISTAN AIR FORCE.
The name of the new product developed by the state-owned PAKISTAN Ordnance Factories (POF) is POF AZB MK1 DMR Assault Cum Sniper Rifle.
The POF AZB MK1 Assault Cum Sniper Rifle, as the name clearly indicates, is a multi-purpose Assault Rifle cum Sniper Rifle. It means that the POF AZB MK1 Assault Cum Sniper Rifle can easily be changed into Assault Rifle to Sniper Rifle and vice versa.
The POF AZB MK1 DMR Assault Cum Sniper Rifle comes with the caliber of 7.62 X 51 MM (NATO). It is basically a medium range Designated Marksman Rifle developed by the company back in 2014.
