According to the details, the CHAIRMAN JOINT CHIEFS OF STAFF COMMITTEE (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, COAS General Asim Munir, CNS Admiral Naveed Ashraf and CAS Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar pays Rich and Glorious Tribute to the Martyred Son of Sacred Country PAKISTAN Major Shabbir Sharif Shaheed on his 52nd Shahadat Anniversary.
During the 1971 war, Major Shabbir Sharif was ordered to capture high ground near the Sulemanki Headwork’s. The position was defended by coward indian infantry, supported by a squadron of tanks.
