CNS Admiral Abbasi Inaugurated New Facilities Of 21st Air Defense Battalion At Ormara And Marines Training Centre At Gwadar:
CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Zaffar Mehmood Abbasi inaugurated the new established facilities of the 21st Air Defense Battalion at Ormara and Marines Training Centre (MTC) at Gwadar, PAKISTAN NAVY DGPR Rear Admiral Rear Admiral Arshid Javed said in an official statement via Official Social Media Handle.
Both facilities were inaugurated in prestigious ceremonies and PAKISTAN NAVAL CHIEF Admiral Zaffar Mehmood Abbasi graced both the occasions as the Special Guest.
21st Air Defense Battalion At Ormara:

Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi visited Pakistan Navy installations at Coastal areas and inaugurated new setups of Marine Training Center (MTC) at Gwadar and 21st Air Defense Battalion at Ormara. MTC will provide training to Marine officers from Pakistan Navy and friendly countries. Pakistan Navy Air defence will augment cover to installations at coastal area. Chief of Naval Staff highlighted importance of security of entire coast and Gwadar port w.r.t CPEC. The Admiral reiterated PN’s resolve to safeguard maritime interests. PAKISTAN NAVY’s newly established 21st Air Defense Battalion will provide round the clock cover, safety and security to the strategical installations of PAKISTAN NAVY at the coastal area.
Speaking on the occasion, PAKISTAN NAVAL CHIEF Admiral Zaffar Mehmood Abbasi highlighted the importance of potent and capable Air Defense Battalion for the protection of entire Coastal Areas of PAKISTAN and Gwadar Port with respect to the Multi Billion Dollars CHINA PAKISTAN Economic Corridor or CPEC.
CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Zaffar Mehmood Abbasi reiterated the firm resolve to safeguard all the maritime interests of PAKISTAN at all cost whatsoever.
PAKISTAN NAVAL CHIEF further added that the addition of the newly added facilities will provide the much needed punch to PAKISTAN NAVY’s offensive and defensive capabilities and it will also add as the formidable force multiplier for the defense of strategically crucial installations of PAKISTAN’s Maritime Frontier and PAKISTAN’s Maritime Exclusive Zone.
During the occasion, PAKISTAN NAVAL CHIEF Admiral Zaffar Mehmood Abbasi highly lauded and commended the commitment and high morale of PAKISTAN NAVY Officers, Sailors, Soldiers and Personnel to safeguard the Sacred Maritime Frontiers of Great PAKISTAN.
Earlier, upon arrival at the Gwadar, CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Zaffar Mehmood Abbasi was warmly Welcomed, Greeted and Received by the Commander Coast (COMCOAST) Vice Admiral Fasial Rasul Lodhi.
Marines Training Centre (MTC):
In his second leg of the visit, CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Zaffar Mehmood Abbasi also inaugurated the Marines Training Centre (MTC) at Gwadar.

The newly inaugurated facility of Marines Training Centre (MTC) at Gwadar of PAKISTAN NAVY is equipped with the state of the art and cutting edge facilities for the training of PAKISTAN NAVY Marines.
Speaking on the occasion, PAKISTAN NAVAL CHIEF (CNS) Admiral Zaffar Mehmood Abbasi highlighted the significance of newly established facility of Marines Training Centre (MTC) of PAKISTAN NAVY as a formidable force multiplier.
CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Zaffar Mehmood Abbasi further added that the newly inaugurated facility of Marines Training Centre (MTC) will be one of the Premier Training Institute designed to impact specialized professional courses to PAKISTAN NAVY Marine Officers and Soldiers.
Furthermore, the Marines Training Centre (MTC) will also train NAVAL Officers from friendly countries by inducting them to the newly established Marine Training Centre (MTC).
It is pertinent to mention that the newly established is a strategically important and futuristic decision taken by time in the essence of present time and challenges.
Moreover, apart from providing the futuristic and advance training facilities to the NAVAL Special Operation Forces (SOFs) and Marines, the inauguration of Marines Training Centre (MTC) will also significantly help to enhance the presence of PAKISTAN NAVAL FORCES and PAKISTAN NAVAL FLEET in the strategically important Coastal Installations, Coastal Cities and Maritime Frontiers of PAKISTAN.
The addition of both the new facilities will provide the much anticipated and much needed formidable force multiplier to PAKISTAN NAVAL FORCES and PAKISTAN NAVAL FLEET and it will also take the Offensive capabilities of PAKISTAN NAVY to a next level.
