CNS Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi Lays Foundation Stone of Health Sciences Complex at BU Medical & Dental College Karachi:

CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi laid the foundation stone of Health Sciences Complex at Bahria University & Dental College (BUM&DC) Karachi, PAKISTAN NAVY Director General Public Relations (DG PR) Rear Admiral Arshid Javed said in an official statement via the official Social Media handler.

PAKISTAN NAVAL CHIEF (CNS) Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

Later, the Chief Guest of the Ceremony Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi was thoroughly briefed about the salient aspects of the new Health Sciences Complex at Bahria University & Dental College (BUM&DC), Karachi.

According to the details released by the PAKISTAN NAVY Director General Public Relations, In the first phase of Health Sciences Complex, Bahria University Dental College & Hospital will be constructed.

The second phase of the project includes the Nursing College & Medical Training School of PAKISTAN NAVY. While, in the third and last phase, Allied Health Sciences & College will also be established.

To pursue the CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi to promote and impart quality education amongst all, the Bahria University Dental College & Hospital will offer top of the line Oral Health Care Facilities.

Furthermore, the Bahria University Dental College & Hospital will also offer inter-disciplinary research in different domains of Health.

The Hospital will also help to contribute to the skill enhancement of dental paramedic staff, professionals and post graduates on par with international standards.

Ground breaking ceremony of Bahria University Dental College & Hospital held at #Karachi. Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Upon his arrival he was received by Rector Bahria University, Vice Admiral (Retd) Kaleem Shuakat. Later, the Chief Guest was briefed about the salient aspects of the project. Bahria University is developing a Health Sciences Complex at Bahria University Medical & Dental College ( BUM&DC), Karachi. In first phase of Health Sciences Complex, Bahria University Dental College & Hospital will be constructed. Second phase includes #PakistanNavy Nursing College & Medical Training School. During the last phase, Allied Health Science & #College of Physical Therapy will also be established. In pursuance of Chief of the Naval Staff’s vision to promote quality education, #BahriaUniversity Dental College & #Hospital, will provide quality Oral #health care facilities and inter-disciplinary research in different areas. Additionally, it will contribute to produce & skill-up dental professionals, postgraduates and dental paramedic staff of international standards. The ceremony was attended by Director General Medical Services (Navy) Surgeon Rear Admiral Ch. M Qamar Ul Haq Noor, Director General BUM&DC Rear Admiral Imtiazi Ahmad, Senior Naval Officers and faculty members.

The prestigious and gracious ceremony was attended by the Director General Bahria University Medical & Dental College (BUM&DC) Rear Admiral Imtiaz Ahmed, Rector Bahria University Vice Admiral (Retd) Kaleem Shaukat, Director General Medical Services (NAVY) Surgeon Rear Admiral Chaudhary M Qamar Ul Haq Noor, Senior PAKISTAN NAVY Officers and faculty members.

Earlier, upon arrival at the Bahria University Medical & Dental College, the Chief Guest of the Ceremony PAKISTAN CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi was warmly welcomed, greeted and received by the Rector Bahria University, Vice Admiral (R) Kaleem Shaukat.
