PAKISTAN NAVY Deployed Its Front-Line Warships and Aircrafts In the Arabian Sea For RMSP:
It is an undeniable fact that the word Security is not merely the word, it is a in fact a paradigm that makes the living environment free from all sorts of threats, danger and fear. The security of the country ensured through different Land Forces, Air Forces and Naval Forces.
The armed forces are responsible to secure and protecting the territorial integrity of the country through various means. The naval forces help to secure and protect the maritime frontiers of the country and the Air Forces are responsible to provide a solid protection and defense in the country’s Air space.
Regional Maritime Security Patrols (RMSP) is Pakistan Navy’s initiative for preserving freedom of the seas. In recent era, the major maritime threats that threatened the National Security of the country are, but not limited to gun-running, drug trafficking, piracy, maritime terrorism and poaching activities.
In a bid to further secure and protect the maritime frontier of PAKISTAN and other regional countries, PAKISTAN NAVY has taken an initiative of Regional Maritime Security Patrols of RMSP.

PAKISTAN NAVY is rigorously maintaining the maritime security of the region by deploying its front-line warships and aircrafts for pursuing the objective of maintaining the security of regional maritime frontiers through Regional Maritime Security Patrols (RMSP).
PAKISTAN NAVY has deployed its different assets for the Combined Task Force CTF-150 and Combined Task Force 151 CTF-151. The CTF-150 is responsible for counter-terrorism and maritime security operations, while is responsible to control piracy in the maritime frontiers.
PAKISTAN NAVY joined the CTF-150 in 2004 and CTF-151 in 2009 respectively. As a responsible and active member of these Maritime Task Forces, PAKISTAN NAVY remains committed to disrupt terrorist organization and their illegal activities in the maritime domain in the North Arabian Sea, Gulf of Aden, Horn or Africa and Red Sea.
PAKISTAN NAVY has the distinction to command both the Combined Task Force CTF-150 and CTF-151 at various occasions. In continuation of these efforts, PAKISTAN NAVY has taken several strategic shifts to independent Regional Maritime Security Patrols in the indian ocean region.
Regional Maritime Security Patrols (RMSP) initiative has been instituted in line of United National Resolutions and United Nations Convention on the Laws of the Sea (UNCLOS).
