Commissioning Parade Of 117th Midshipmen And 25th Short Service Commission Held At PAKISTAN NAVAL ACADEMY Karachi:

Commissioning parade of 117th Midshipmen and 25th Short Services Commission was held at the PAKISTAN NAVAL Academy Karachi on 25th June, 2022, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY Rear Admiral Naeem Sarwar said in an official statement. 

According to the details, PAKISTAN NAVAL CHIEF (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi graced the Commissioning Ceremony as the Chief Guest.

A total of 23 Midshipmen from 4 Brotherly and allied countries of Sacred Country PAKISTAN passed out on the occasion. 13 Midshipmen from Sacred Country PAKISTAN, 14 Midshipmen from Bahrain, 3 Midshipmen from State of Palestine and 2 Midshipmen form Qatar passed out along with 19 officers from the Short Service Commission.

While addressing the ceremony, the Chief Guest of the ceremony congratulated the candidates for successfully completing of their training term.

He highlighted the dynamic of modern warfare, while underlining the new responsibilities and challenges for the newly commissioned officers.

He added that the maritime domain is continuously evolving due to the massive power re-shuffle and the technological advancements.

Only those NAVAL FORCES would prevail that would align themselves with the ever evolving geo-strategic spectrum and modern trends of Warfare.

The Chief Guest newly commissioned officers to put up their best to live up the glorious tradition of their services and pride of nation.

The Chief Guest congratulated the newly Commissioned Officers from the Friendly, Brotherly and Allied Countries of Sacred Country PAKISTAN. He advised the newly Commissioned Officers to lead by their professional acumen, character, foresight and conduct.

Later, the Chief Guest distributed the prizes among the distinction position holders in their respective courses.

Lieutenant Syed Irtaza Haider Naqvi clinched the Prestigious and Coveted QUAID-I-AZAM Gold Medal for his overall Best Performance in the course.

Midshipman Adnan M. Ebrahim Jasim Bader from Bahrain clinched the Academy’s Dirk. The CHAIRMAN JOINT CHIEFS OF STAFF COMMITTEE (CJCSC) Gold Medal secured by the Officer Cadet Naufal Malik.

The Commandant Gold Medal was awarded to the Officer Cadet Sumayya Sajjad from the Short Service Commission Course (SSC). Whereas, the Quarter Deck Squadron clinched the Proficiency Banner.

In his Welcome Address, the Commandant of PAKSTAN NAVAL Academy Commodore Sohail Ahmed Azmie highlighted the significance of the Quality education being imparted by the PAKISTAN NAVAL Academy to the Cadets of Sacred Country PAKISTAN, as well as the Cadets of the Friendly and Allied Countries of Sacred Country PAKISTAN.

The Commandant of PAKSTAN NAVAL Academy Commodore Sohail Ahmed Azmie to hold fast the ideals of courage, loyalty and honor in order to become the Best Naval Officers with Firm Character and Professional Acumen.

The Commissioning parade of 117th Midshipmen and 25th Short Services Commission was attended by the large number of Serving / Retired Senior Military Officials, Parents and the Guests of the newly passed out cadets.
