KSA Confers Coveted King Abdulaziz Medal of Excellence On COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa For His Significant Cooperation In Defense Sector Of Both Countries:
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia conferred the Coveted King Abdul Aziz Medal of Excellence on CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa for his significant contribution in strengthening the Defense Cooperation between the Two Brotherly Countries, PAKISTAN and Saudi Arabia on Sunday, June 26th, 2022, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement.
According to the details, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa, who is on an Official visit to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, held One on One important meetings with 1st Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Chief of General Staff (CGS) General Fayyadh Bin Hamed Al-Ruwailu at Jeddah.
During all the interaction, the dignitaries discussed various matters pertaining to ‘Professional and Mutual Interest’, including the ways to further augment the Bilateral Defense and Security relationships between both the Countries.
On the occasion, PAK ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that the Sacred Country PAKISTAN values its Brotherly and Historical relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and acknowledged its unique place in the ISLAMIC World.
During the interaction, the dignitaries from both the Countries, PAKISTAN and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia agreed in Principle to further enhance the Defense Cooperation and Collaboration in the domain of Air Defense, Joint Training, Counter Terrorism and Information / Communication domain.
The dignitaries also agreed in Principle to further strengthen the Defense and Security cooperation between the ARMED, NAVAL and AIR FORCES of both the Brotherly Countries, PAKISTAN and Saudi Arabia.
The dignitaries agreed to further enhance the Cordial and Brotherly relations and deep spirit of Brotherhood into enduring strategic partnership.
The dignitaries from both sides also agreed that both Brotherly Countries, PAKISTAN and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are the important countries of the region and both countries have significant responsibilities towards the unity of the MUSLIM UMMAH.
It is highly expected that the recent high-profile visit of the PAK ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa will significantly help to further strengthen the Bilateral relationship with Saudi Arabia in different domains, including Security and Defense.
