Newly Appointed CHINESE Ambassador To PAKISTAN H.E Mr. Nong Rong Pays Maiden Visit To COAS General Bajwa At GHQ Islamabad:
The Newly appointed Ambassador of PAKISTAN’s Iron Brother Country, CHINA H.E Mr. Nong Rong paid a maiden visit to CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at the Generals Headquarters (GHQ) on 9 November 2020, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement on the Official Twitter Account.
According to the details released by PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing ISPR, the Newly Appointed CHINESE Ambassador to PAKISTAN, H.E Mr, Nong Rong met the PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ.
During the meeting, both the dignitaries discuss different matters related to the recent regional security and mutual interest.
“Mr Nong Rong, Chinese Amb 2 PAK met COAS. Matters of mutual interest incl regional security discussed. The 2 noted exceptional relations between both countries & pledged 2 further improve the same. Visiting dignitary ack & aprc Pak’s contributions 4 conflict prevention in region,” DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement on the official Twitter Account.
The Newly Appointed CHINESE Ambassador to PAKISTAN H.E Mr. Nong Rong succeeded the Previous CHINESE Ambassador to PAKISTAN, H.E Mr. Yao Jing.
It is pertinent to mention that the newly appointed CHINESE Ambassador to PAKISTAN, H.E Mr. Nong Rong categorically made it clear on November 6, 2020 that Beijing want to make the CHINA PAKISTAN Economic Corridor as the Flagship and Role Model of CHINESE Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).
“The CPEC is an important project to change the destiny of PAKISTAN, and it has received the heartfelt support of the PAKISTANI government and people,” CHINESE Ambassador to PAKISTAN, H.E Mr. Nong Rong said in a statement after meeting CPEC Chairman Lt General (retd) Asim Bajwa.
The CHINESE Ambassador to PAKISTAN, H.E Mr. Nong Rong gave these remarks during the high profile meeting with the Chairman of CHINA PAKISTAN Economic Corridor (CPEC) Authority Lieutenant General (Retd) Asim Bajwa in Islamabad.
During the meeting, both the dignitaries shared in-depth views on wide range of projects CPEC related development projects.
