Former CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Karamat Rahman Niazi Laid To Rest In Islamabad:
Former PAKISTAN NAVAL CHIEF, CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Karamat Rahman Niazi laid to Rest in Islamabad on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY said in an official statement.
According to the details released by the PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY, CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi, Former PAKISTAN NAVAL CHIEFS, Retired and Serving Tri-Services Officials of Sacred PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES participated in the Funeral Prayers of Former CNS Admiral Karamat Rahman Niazi.
Former CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Karamat Rahman Niazi enjoyed a remarkable and distinctive NAVAL Career spanning over 4 decades. CNS Admiral Karamat Rahman Niazi has the unique distinction of being the very first Commanding Officer of PAKISTAN NAVY’s First Submarine PNS GHAZI.
Throughout his illustrious career, he remained the Pioneer Commander of Submarines Squadron and Director of Submarine Operations of PAKISTAN NAVAL FLEET.

Former CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Karamat Rahman Niazi got also the distinction and he became the valiant war veteran who participated in both 1965 and 1972 PAKISTAN-india Wars.
“Former CNS Adm Karamat Rahman Niazi laid to rest at Isb. CNS Adm Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi, Former CNSs, officers from AFs & civilians attended funeral & laid floral wreaths. CNS prayed for eternal peace, condoled with family & paid tribute to his meticulous services for PN,” DGPR NAVY said.
During the PAKISTAN-india 1965 War, Former CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Karamat Rahman Niazi was Commanding the PAKISTAN’s First Ever Submarine named as PNS GHAZI.

During the whole war, PNS GHAZI confined the whole indian naval fleet in its harbor. The indian naval forces don’t dare to cross even one nautical mile of their harbor due to the immense fear of PNS GHAZI, being commanded by Former CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Karamat Rahman Niazi.
Not only the bold actions of Former CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Karamat Rahman Niazi infused fear in the heart of enemies of Sacred PAKISTAN, but it also provided the significant strategic to the Sacred Country PAKISTAN against its enemies, including india.

Throughout his illustrious and remarkable career, the Former CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Karamat Rahman Niazi showed exemplary courage, impeccable moral strength, highest sense of Patriotism and Extraordinary professional competence.
Early Career of Former CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Karamat Rahman Niazi:
Former CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Karamat Rahman Niazi joined the Royal PAKISTAN NAVY back in November 1948. He completed his initial training from the Britannia Royal Naval College Dartmouth. He is also a graduate of the PAKISTAN’s Prestigious War Studies Institute, National Defense College.

Admiral Karamat Rahman Niazi was appointed as the 8th NAVAL CHIEF OF PAKISTAN NAVY back in 1979. During his illustrious career, he oversaw several Strategic Command Appointments, including the Commander PAKISTAN Fleet (COMPAK), Commander Submarines Squadron and Command 25th Destroyer Squadron.

He has also served as the Vice CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (V/CNS) and Deputy CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) (Operations).
In recognition of his meritorious services for his Sacred Country PAKISTAN, CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Karamat Rahman Niazi was awarded with the Nishan-e-Imtiaz (Military) and Sitara-e-Jurrat.
CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi laid the Floral Wreath to the Grave of CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Karamat Rahman Niazi. Beside, Senior Officials from Tri-Services of PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES, Senior NAVAL Officers and Prominent Civilians also presented on the occasion.
