Italian Navy Frigate MOROSINI conducts the Bilateral Maritime Exercise with PAKISTAN NAVY Stealth Warship PNS SHAHJAHAN in the Arabian Sea during visit to Sacred Country PAKISTAN on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY said in an Official Statement.
According to the details, the Italian Navy Frigate MOROSINI visits Karachi port during official visit to Sacred Country PAKISTAN.
Upon arrival at the Karachi Port, the Italian Navy Frigate MOROSINI was Warmly Greeted, Welcomed and Received by the Top Senior Officials of the PAKISTAN NAVY and Ambassador of Italy in Sacred Country PAKISTAN.
Concurrent to ship’s visit, Director of Military Personnel of the Italian Navy, Vice Admiral Andrea GUEGLIO visited Sacred Country PAKISTAN and called-on Commander PAKISTAN Fleet (COMPAK) Vice Admiral Muhammad Faisal Abbasi.
During the meeting, matters of mutual interest and avenues for future collaboration to enhance regional maritime security were discussed.
An Italian Defense Industries delegation led by Chairman M/s Fincantieri, General (Retd) Claudio GRAZIANO (former Italian COAS) also visited Karachi to showcase capabilities of Italian defence industry and shipbuilding.
On completion of the port visit, the PAKISTAN NAVY Stealth Warship SHAHJAHAN with embarked helicopter and PAF fighters carried out sea exercise with visiting Italian ship MOROSINI to enhance interoperability between both Friendly Naval Forces. The sea exercise is aimed to strengthen mutual professional skills through cooperation and learning from each other’s experience.
The recent visit of the Italian Navy Frigate MOROSINI to Sacred Country PAKISTAN will help to further augment and strengthen the Bilateral Defense and Security relationship between both the Friendly Countries, Sacred Country PAKISTAN and Italy, in different domains and spheres, including Defense and Security.
