PAKISTAN NAVY Celebrates The Golden Jubilee Of Historic HANGOR Day After Completion Of 50 Years Of Sinking The indian navy Ship KHUKRI By PNS HANGOR:

PAKISTAN NAVY Commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Historic Hangor Day and celebrates the sinking of indian navy ship KHURKI by PAKISTAN NAVY Submarine PNS HANGOR on Thursday, 9th December, 2021, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY Rear Admiral Naeem Sarwar said in an official statement.

PAKISTAN NAVY celebrates the Golden Jubilee of Historic HANGOR Day, which is the reminiscent of the unparalleled and unrivaled courage of the PAKISTAN NAVY on the eve of the 1972 War.

The remarkable event of HANGOR Day occurred in the South East off ‘Diu Head’ on the Western coast of india. This distinguished and remarkable event is distinguished in the Modern Naval History as the first kill by any Submarine with 100% success rate after the World War-II (WW-II).

After the completion of 50 years of indian navy Ship KHUKRI destruction, PAKISTAN NAVY commemorate the Golden Jubilee of HANGOR Day in a prestigious and a graceful ceremony at Karachi.

CNS Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi and Vice Admiral (Retd) Ahmad Tasmin, the then Commander PAKISTAN NAVY graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

While addressing the participants, CNS Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi underlined that PAKISTAN NAVY, as the premier Sea-based force of this Sacred Country PAKISTAN, was, is and will always remain ready to befittingly respond to any misadventure and threat posed to the Sacred Country PAKISTAN by the enemy.

“The HANGOR’s triumph serves as a lesson to the enemy and a testimony of highest standard of professionalism and selfless devotion of our veteran submariners,” DG ISPR added.

CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi also highlighted the valour of PNS HANGOR during the PAKISTAN-india 1971 War that remains the unparalleled pride of PAKISTAN NAVY.

CNS Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi said that the heroic action of PNS HANGOR was not only a spectacular strategic battle, executed in the perfect manner, but it also helped to neutralize all the aggressive and nefarious designs of indian armed forces in an efficient manner.

CNS Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi said that the destruction and sinking of indian naval warship INS KHUKRI plummeted all the morale and will of indian navy to further engage in the battle with PAKISTAN NAVY during the PAKISTAN-india 1971 War.

PAK NAVAL CHIEF Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi also termed that the heroic role, daring act and dauntless sacrifices of the Sacred Sons of PAKISTAN have helped the PAKISTAN NAVY to transform in to a ‘force to reckon with’.

While speaking on the occasion, the Valiant Hero of the Sacred Country PAKISTAN Vice Admiral (Retd) Ahmad Tasnim, who led the historic win over indian navy during the PAKISTAN-india 1971 War. He said that the complete success of the mission goes to the entire team members, who worked very hard during the battle to gain the ultimate supremacy in the war against the indian navy.

On the occasion, PAKISTAN NAVY also telecast the special telefilm ‘HANGOR S-131’ based on the courageous and daring actions of the PNS HANGOR Submarine.

Seminar on Technological Advent in Artificial Intelligence: Impact On Sub-Surface Domain’ and Other Events:

A special Seminar ‘Technological Advent in Artificial Intelligence: Impact On Sub-Surface Domain’ was also held at the Jauhar Auditorium Karachi. 

 

Moreover, the celebrations also included the launching of book ‘Story of PNS HANGOR’ written by Rear Admiral (Retd) Mian Zahir Shah and issuance of commemorative coin and a stamp.

The graceful and prestigious ceremony of the Golden Jubilee of Historic HANGOR Day was attended by all the Veteran’s of Historic HANGOR Day and all Senior and Junior Serving and Retired Naval Officers.
