PAKISTAN NAVY Ship PNS NASR Visits Niger And Benin For HADR Mission As Part Of Overseas Deployment To Africa:

PAKISTAN NAVY Shuip0 PNS NASR visited the Benin and Niger for Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Relief (HADR) Mission as part of Overseas Deployment to Africa (OSD), PAKISTAN NAVY spokesperson DGPR NAVY Rear Admiral Arshid Javed said in an official statement on the official Twitter Handler.

According to the details released by the PAKISTAN NAVY DGPR NAVY, PAKISTAN NAVY ship PNS NASR visited the Cotonou Port of Benin.

Upon arrival at the Cotonou Port of Benin, PAKISTAN NAVY Ship PNS NASR was warmly greeted and welcomed by the Ambassador of PAKISTAN at Niger Mr. Ahmed Sirohey along with the Defense Attaché of PAKISTAN in Nigeria, Honorary Consular of PAKISTAN and Senior Naval Officials from the host country.

As a gesture of goodwill and friendship, the PAKISTAN NAVY Ship PNS NASR delivers food aid to the Brotherly Countries of Niger and Benin during various ceremonies held at the Port Cotonou.

The ceremonies were attended by the Top Level Government and Military Officials of Niger and Benin, including Deputy Minister for Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Management of Niger, Ambassador of Niger at Benin, Deputy Director of Benin Presidency Office, General Secretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Benin and Ambassador of PAKISTAN to Niger.

Top Level Government Officials from both the respective countries, Benin & Niger, specially thanked the PAKISTAN NAVY and Government of PAKISTAN for showing the Kind Gesture and provision of Humanitarian Aid Assistance.

It is pertinent to mention that the PAKISTAN NAVY Ship PNS NASR also visited the ports of Sudan and Djibouti for Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) Mission as part of Overseas Deployment to Africa (OSD).

During the stay at the Cotonou Port of Benin, the Commanding Officer and Mission Commander of the PAKISTAN NAVY Ship PNS NASR called on the Chief of Naval Staff of Benin Navy, General Secretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Deputy Minister for Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Management of Niger.

During the interactions, different matters pertaining the mutual interest and enhancement of Bilateral Security Cooperation were discussed.

The Mission Commander of visiting PAKISTAN NAVY Ship PNS NASR conveyed sincerest regards from the CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi to the Brotherly people of both Friendly countries.
