PAKISTAN NAVY Successfully Conducts Live Missile Firing In Operational Exercise RIBAT-2019:

PAKISTAN NAVY’s Operational Exercise RIBAT-2019 Successfully commences in the North Arabian Sea. PAKISTAN NAVY successfully conducts different missile firings of Surface to Air Missiles (SAM) and Air to Surface Missiles (ASM) during the exercise to consolidate flee fire power. The live firing of missiles shows the impressive war fighting of the PAKISTAN NAVAL Forces in the Arabian Sea.

PAKISTAN NAVY is conducting the RIBAT-2019 Operation Exercise to review the overall operational preparedness of PAKISTAN NAVY in the recent maritime challenging situation. The RIBAT-2019 Operational Exercise is aimed at validating various tactics, concepts and war fighting procedures.


These war fighting procedures, including Joint Naval Operation, involving the different commands of PAKISTAN NAVY and as well as the commands of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE (PAF).

During the RIBAT-2019 maritime Operational Exercise, different commands and units of PAKISTAN NAVY (PN) and PAKISTAN AIR FORCE (PAF) are participating in the exercise under the complex 5th Generation Hybrid Warfare Environment.

The Special Forces of PAKISTAN NAVY are also participating in the RIIBAT-2019 exercise. The Special Operation Forces (SOFs) and PAKISTAN MARINES both are rehearsing the unconventional special operations, including Maritime Interdiction Operations, Air Defense, Coastal Defense and so on.

The recent commencement of RIBAT-2019 Maritime Operational Exercise will help to ensure to maintain the highest state of combat preparedness of PAKISTAN NAVAL FORCES to ensure the protection PAKISTAN Maritime Frontiers and PAKISTAN’s Interest during both peace and war time.

PAKISTAN NAVAL CHIEF, CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Zaffar Mahmood Abbasi himself witnesses the missile firings and expressed his deep satisfaction on the professional operational preparedness of PAKISTAN NAVAL FORCES.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) Admiral Zaffar Mahmood Abbasi reaffirmed the resolve that PAKISTAN NAVAL FORCES are ready to defend the maritime frontiers of the country and would give a befitting reply to its adversary in the case of any misadventure in the Arabian Sea.
