PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS ALAMGIR Participates In DOGU AKDENIZ-21 Multinational Naval Drills In AKSAZ Naval Base In TURKEY:

PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS ALAMGIR participated in the Multinational Naval Exercise DOGU AKDENIZ-21 at AKSAZ Naval Base in TURKEY on Monday, November 15, 2021, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY Rear Admiral Naeem Sarwar said in an official statement. 

According to the details, PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS ALAMGIR visits Brotherly Country TURKEY to take part in the DOGU AKDENIZ-21 Multinational Naval Drills being conducted in the Mediterranean Sea.

PAK NAVY Vice Admiral Zahid Ilyas represented the PAKISTAN NAVY in the Multinational Naval Exercise DOGU AKDENIZ-21.

Earlier upon arrival at the AKSAZ Naval Base in TURKEY, PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS ALAMGIR was warmly greeted, welcomed and received by the Naval Attaché of PAKISTAN at Ankara, Commander of 2nd TURKISH Destroyer Squadron and Senior officials from the Brotherly TURKISH NAVY.

During the stay in port, the Mission Commander of PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS ALAMGIR Commodore Azhar Mahmood along with the Commanding Officer meets with the Top ranking TURKISH NAVY Officials, including the Commander TURKISH Maritime Forces.

During the meeting, the dignitaries discusses matters related to professional and mutual interest and the contribution of PAKISTAN NAVY to promote the regional maritime peace and security by the host dignitaries.

On the occasion, the Mission Commander of PAK NAVY Warship PNS ALAMGIR conveyed the heartfelt and sincere wishes from PAK NAVAL CHIEF, CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi for the Brotherly People of Iron Brother Country TURKEY in general and the Brotherly TURKISH NAVY in particular.

It is important to mention that the recent visit of PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS ALAMGIR consists of two phases, including the sea and harbor phase.

During the harbor phase, PAKISTAN NAVY officials will discuss the table top discussion with the Senior TURKISH Military Leadership. While, in the sea phase, the PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS ALAMGIR will visit the Multinational Maritime Exercise DOGU AKDENIZ-21 in the Mediterranean Sea under the umbrella of TURKISH NAVY.

The recent participation of PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS ALAMGIR in the Multinational Naval Drills DOGU AKDENIZ-21 in TURKEY will significantly help to enhance the combat readiness and operational preparedness capability of PAKISTAN NAVY in multi-threat environment. The exercise will also help to enhance the interoperability of PAKISTAN NAVY with the World Navies.

PAKISTAN NAVY, as the premier Sea-based Force of Sacred Country PAKISTAN, has always remained committed in playing its due role in enhancing the maritime regional security.

Various tactical evolutions were undertaken during the DOGU AKDENIZ-21 Multinational Naval Drills, including the HELO Operations and Seamanship exercises.

At the end of the DOGU AKDENIZ-21 Naval Exercise, the PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS ALAMGIR will conduct Joint Patrol and Bilateral Exercise TURGUTREIS-VI with the Warships of the Brotherly TURKISH NAVY.

The recent visit of the PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS ALAMGIR is another testimony of PAKISTAN and TURKEY Strong bilateral Defense and Security relations between both the Iron Brother Countries.
