PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS SAIF Participates In CHINOOK ARCHER Exercise With Canadian And US Navies As Part Of CTF-150:
PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS SAIF participated in the Focused Operation Chinook Archer along with the Naval Warships and Aircraft of the Canadian and United States Navy as part of the CTF-150 Multinational Maritime Taskforce, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY Rear Admiral Arshid Javed said in an official statement.
According to the details released by the PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head, PAKISTAN NVY Ships are regularly deployed in Arabian Sea and indian ocean for its initiative of Regional Maritime Security Patrols (RMSP).
“As part of CTF-150, PNS SAIF participated in Focused Operation CHINOOK ARCHER along with ships and aircrafts of United States and Canada. The exercise was aimed at impacting narcotic smuggling trade along the hash highway to the East of Oman,” DGPR NAVY said.
Under the auspices of the Chinook Archer exercise, PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS SAIF carried out Naval Exercise with Canadian Ship HMCS Calgary and United States Navy Ship USS Laboon.

The recent participation of the PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS SAIF to the Trilateral Exercise Chinook Exercise with the Canadian and United States Navy. The main aim of the Focused Operation Chinook Archer is to control the smuggling of narcotics along the hash highway to the East of Oman.
“Under the realm of Focused Operation, PNS SAIF participated in the Passage Exercise with US naval ship USS LABOON and Canadian ship HMCS CALGARY. The aim of the exercise was primarily to demonstrate interoperability between participating navies and interdict illegal smuggling/ trade emanating along the hash highway,” DGPR NAVY added.
The exercise demonstrates the interoperability between the participating naval forces along the hash highway. PAKISTAN NAVY always promotes the peace and stability in the Arabian Sea and indian ocean region and it has remained committed to the safety and security at sea.

“Participation of PN in such internationally organized Focused Operation is a manifestation of PN’s resolve in curtailing terrorism at sea in all forms. PN Ships being flag bearers of PAKISTAN continue to remain poised at sea in an effort to curb menace of illegal smuggling / narco trafficking so as to ensure safe regional trade corridors for maritime community,” DGPR NAVY further added.

The participation of the PAKISTAN NAVY Ship PNS SAIF in such internationally organized Focused Operation is a clear manifestation of PAKISTAN NAVY’s resolve in curtailing indian state sponsored and indian state funded terrorism at sea in all forms.
The Flag Bearers of PAKISTAN NAVY continue to remain active at Sea in an effort to curb the menace of illegal narco trafficking and smuggling to ensure the safe regional trade corridors.
