PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS TARIQ Visits Oman On Regional Maritime Security Patrols:
PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS TARIQ visited the Sultan Bin Qaboos Port in Muscat, Oman during overseas deployment on Regional Maritime Security Patrols (RMSP) on Monday, October 18th, 2021, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY Rear Admiral Naeem Sarwar said in an official statement.
According to the details released by the PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head, PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS TARIQ visits Oman on RMSP. The RMSP is a unique initiative of PAKISTAN NAVY to ensure the security and stability in the North Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Oman.
Upon arrival at the Port Sultan Bin Qaboos, PAKKSTAN NAVY Warship PNS TARIQ was warmly welcomed, greeted and received by the Senior Officials of Royal Navy of Oman and PAKISTAN Defense Attaché.
PNS TARIQ Warship is armed with the state of the art and hi-tech sensors, weaponry and missiles and it is fully capable of undertaking wide range of maritime operations in a condense multi-threat environment.
During the stay at the port, the Commanding Officer of PAKISTAN NAVY visiting Warship PNS TARIQ called on the Commanding Officer Said Bun Sultan Naval Base Commodore Rashid Bin Abdul Karim.
During the meeting, both the dignitaries discusses matters pertaining to professional and mutual interest. Both the dignitaries also agreed on further enhancing the Bilateral Defense and Security relations between both the Brotherly ISLAMIC Countries, PAKISTAN and Oman.
The Commanding Officer of PNS TARIQ conveyed heartfelt and sincerest regards from PAK NAVAL CHIEF Admiral Muhammad Ajmal Khan Niazi to the Proud people of Oman in general and Oman Navy in Particular.
During the stay at the Oman port, several table top discussions and demonstrations onboard ship were held.
At the end of the visit, PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS TARIQ carried out Bilateral Naval Exercise with Warship of Royal Oman Navy RNOV SADH.
Commanding Officer PNS TARIQ called on CO Said Bin Sultan Naval Base Cdre Rashid Bin Abdul Karim & conveyed sincere regards from #CNS Adm Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi. Later on, PN Ship carried out bilateral exercise & undertook coordinated patrol with RNOV SADH. (2/2)
