Graduation Ceremony Of 145th GD (P) Held at PAF Academy Asghar Khan In Risalpur:

The Graduation ceremony of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE 145th GD (P), 101st Air Defense (AD) Couse and 91st ENGG held at the PAF Academy Asghar Khan in Risalpur on Monday, October 18th, 2021, PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Media Wing Head DGPR AIR FORCE said in an official statement. 

According to the details released by the PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Media Wing Head, the graduation ceremony of PAF 145th GD (P), 91st ENGG and 101st AD Course held in Risalpur.

PAK AIR CHIEF, CHIEF OF AIR STAFF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar graced the graduation ceremony as the Chief Guest.

On arrival at the PAF Academy Asghar Khan, CAS Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar was warmly greeted, welcomed and received by the Air Commanding Officer, PAF Academy Asghar Khan Air Vice Marshal Muhammad Qaiser Janjua.

During the graduation ceremony, a total of 125 Aviation cadet, including 5 Cadets of Royal Saudi Air Force passed out.

PAKISTAN AIR CHIEF Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar distributed the Shields, Trophies and Medals to the distinctive position holders in the ceremony.

The CHAIRMAN JOINT CHIEFS OF STAFF COMMITTEE (CJCSC) Trophy for the best performance in General Service clinched by the Aviation Cadet Squadron Under Officer Nayyer Ashfaq.

The CHIEF OF AIR STAFF (CAS) Trophy for best performance in Air Defense wins by the Aviation Cadet Sargent Hanzallah Moin Khan and Aviation Cadet Sargent Muhammad Aqib, respectively.

Sargent Abdul Rehman wins the clinched the Chief of the Air Staff Best Trophy for Outstanding Performance in Flying Training.

Aviation Cadet Wing Under Officer Suffiyan wins the Coveted Sword of Honor for overall best performance in College of Aeronautical Engineering. While, Aviation Cadet Squadron Under Officer Anas Mustafa wins the Sword of Honor for overall best performance in College of Flying Training.

While addressing the large gathering, CAS Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu congratulated the newly passed out cadets.

CAS Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar further said, “I am proud that ARMED Forces of PAKISTAN are professionally competent and well-trained to cope with all internal and external challenges. Our brave Air Warriors have always displayed great courage during testing times and upheld Quaid’s vision of PAF being Second to None. I assure you that PAF is very well poised to preserve our freedom at all costs”.

“PAKISTAN is a peace-loving Nation and desires to maintain friendly ties with all countries. However, our desire for peace must not be misunderstood as weakness. Let me make it clear, that there can be no peace without a just settlement of the Kashmir issue,” he added.

“We condemn the grave human rights violations in IIOJK. I urge the international community to play their role in ending human rights violations and atrocities in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir,” PAK AIR CHIEF added.

While addressing the newly passed out cadets, CAS Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar said, “Remember, today is the beginning of your journey in PAF as an officer. You have been trained well at this leading Air Force Academy and must continue to work hard in order to keep abreast of the latest developments in technology, modern concepts and current trends related to role of Air Power in modern warfare. You should also seek inspiration from the legacy of our forefathers who, despite tough challenges, kept PAF’s flag high”.

The graduation ceremony of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE was followed by the enthralling and stunning aerial display by PAF Aerobatics Team “Sherdils”.

Large number of Military Officers and Civilians witnessed the graceful graduation ceremony.
