COAS General Bajwa And Iraq Defense Minister H.E Mr. Juma Ahad Held One On One Important Meeting In GHQ Rawalpindi:
CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa held one on one important meeting with the Iraq Defense Minister H.E Mr. Juma Ahad in Generals Headquarter (GHQ), Rawalpindi on Thursday, February 25, 2021, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Ifitikhar said in an official statement on the official Twitter Account.
According to the details released by the PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head ISPR, Iraw Defense Minister H.E Mr. Juma Ahad held an important meeting with COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ.
During the meeting, both dignitaries discussed various matters of security and mutual interest with each other. Both the dignitaries also discussed to undertake various measures to enhance and expand the scope of mutual Defense Cooperation between the Two Brotherly Countries.
“During the meeting, matters pertaining to regional security and mutual interest, as well as measures to enhance mutual defense cooperation came under discussion,” DG ISPR said.
The visiting Iraq Defense Minister H.E Mr. Juma Ahad praised the efforts of PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES for maintaining peace and stability in the region.
On the occasion, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that PAKISTAN attaches great importance to its fraternal relations with Iraq and PAKISTAN recognizes the precious Sacrifices of Brotherly Iraqi people in the fight against Terrorism.
“During the meeting, the ARMY CHIEF offered cooperation to Iraq in defense and related fields and said that PAKISTAN attaches great importance to its fraternal relations with Brotherly Country of Iraq and PAKISTAN also recognizes the sacrifices of the Iraqi people against terrorism,” DG ISPR added.
During the meeting, both the dignitaries pledged to work together for maintaining security and stability in the region.
CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa offered the cooperation of Iraq in Defense and related field in order to fulfil all its security needs.
