PAKISTAN Ordnance Factories Starts Indigenous Production Of 9mm Ammunition From Newly Installed TURKISH Plant:

PAKISTAN Ordnance Factories (POF), the state-owned Ammunition and Weapons producing facility of Sacred Country PAKISTAN, has started the indigenous production of 9mm Ammunition from the newly installed plant.

 

According to the details, PAKISTAN Ordnance Factories has recently import the 9mm Ammunition Machinery and Plant from PAKISTAN Iron Brother TURKEY and now POF as the capacity to produce 20 million rounds of 9mm ammunition per year.

Previously, PAKISTAN Ordnance Factories was using the slight older plant with a maximum capacity of producing around 5 million 9mm round annually.

After installing the new plant, the PAKISTAN Ordnance Factories can now produce up to 4 times of 9mm ammunition, which it was produced earlier.

 the PAKISTAN Ordnance Factories (POF) has also reduced the price of the 9mm Ammunition by PKR 10. Now, the cost of one round of 9mm ammunition would cost PKR 80.

The PAKISTAN Ordnance Factories enhanced its production capacity in order to meet the higher ammunition needs and demands of PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES, Law Enforcement Agencies and the needs of the civilians as well.

Officials of PAKISTAN Ordnance Factories sources informed that the local market was previously heavily relied on the imported 9mm ammunition to meet the market needs and most of this imported ammunition is of low quality due to the lack of robust regulatory measures.

After installing the new plant from TURKEY, PAKISTAN Ordnance Factories eyeing to grab the local as well as international market by offering low cost 9mm ammunition to the customers.

Top Defense Analysts termed this step as the historic one for the Sacred Country PAKISTAN. PAKISTAN SECURITY FORCES and the Law Enforcement Agencies, which were previously relying on several sources to fulfill their ammo needs, including the PAKISTAN Ordnance Factories, can now easily fulfill all their ammunition needs without having to look for the alternate sources.
