PAKISTAN, Russia ‘Keen to Expand Military Ties’ Among Both Countries:
Russian Commander In Chief Russian Ground Forces General Oleg Salyukov who is on an Official Visit to PAKISTAN has met with the PAKISTAN Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa in Rawalpindi. The Top Military Brass of both the countries shows keen interest to boost bilateral defense cooperation between the two countries.

The Top Military Brass of both the countries discussed various matters related to regional security, defense cooperation and agreed for further measures to further expand the Military to Military Ties between the Armed Forces of both the Countries.
On the Occasion, the PAKISTAN Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa aid that PAKISTAN doesn’t believe in Zero Sum Games, but believes in cooperation and integration.
Russian Commander In Chief Russian Ground Forces General Oleg Salyukov lauds PAKISTAN ARMY’s role and Sacrifices in on-going War against Terrorism. The Russian General said on the occasion that the World should appreciate and lauds what PAKISTAN has achieved in War against Terrorism.
The Russian Commander In Chief Russian Ground Forces General Oleg Salyukov expressed his Country’s desire to maintain and establish broad based stronger relations with PAKISTAN.
During the visit, the Russian Commander In Chief Russian Ground Forces General Oleg Salyukov also lad a floral wreath at the Yaadgar-e-Shuhda and Smart Contingent of PAKISTAN ARMY presented a Guard of Honor to the Guest on the occasion.
Russian Commander Visit Air Headquarter Rawalpindi:
The Russian Commander In Chief Russian Ground Forces General Oleg Salyukov also met the PAKISTAN AIR CHIEF Air Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan and discussed measures to also expand the defense ties between both the countries.

Both the Military Top Brass emphasized the need to increase the military level interaction between both the Armed Forces to bolster bilateral defense ties.

Later, Security Secretary-General for National Defense and Security of France Mrs. Claire Landais called of PAKISTAN COAS General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa at the General Headquarters (GHQ) Rawalpindi.

During the meeting, both the sides discussed matters related to regional security and overall security cooperation among the two countries.
