COAS General Bajwa Witnesses Jidar Ul Hadeed Tactical Exercise In Thar Desert:
CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa witnessed the ongoing Jidar Ul Hadeed Tactical Exercise in the Thar Desert, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DGISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement via official Twitter account.
According to the details released by the PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing ISPR, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the Chhor Training Area of PAKISTAN ARMY located in the Thar Desert.
COAS General Qamar Javed witnessed the ingoing Tactical Exercise Jidar Ul Hadeed, where the operational capability of PAKISTAN ARMY field formations operating in the desert is being tested in near battlefield environment.
The main aim of the Jidar Ul Hadeed Tactical Exercise is to enhance the operational capability and combat readiness of desert warfare of PAKISTAN ARMY Troops.
The Tactical Exercise Jidar Ul Hadeed involves the integrated maneuvers of PAKISTAN ARMY mechanized & infantry forces in a battle decisive role and environment.
“COAS expressed his complete satisfaction over operational preparedness & the combat readiness of the formation. Vigorous training & highest standard of preparedness in peacetime are the only guarantors of peace, COAS emphasized,” DGISPR said in an official Twitter account.
On the occasion, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa was given detailed and thorough briefing about the about the Exercise by the field commander regarding the procedures and operating drills being practiced to ensure the complete dominance in case of a potential conflict.
The Jidar Ul Hadeed Exercise is stretches for over two weeks, which will officially culminate on 28 February, 2021.
“The training exercise Jidar -ul- Hadeed involves integrated maneuvers of infantry & mechanized forces in a defensive role,” DGISPR added in the statement.
While speaking on the occasion, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa highly lauded and commended the professional expertise, morale and combat readiness of troops involved in the Exercise.
