Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan H.E Mr. Aybek Arif Usmanov held One on One high-profile and important meeting with PAK AIR CHIEF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar at AIR HQ Islamabad on Thursday, 1st June, 2023, PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Media Wing Head DGPR AIR FORCE Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed said in an Official Statement.
According to the details, the Ambassador of Republic of Uzbekistan H.E Mr. Aybek Arif Usmanov visited AIR HQ Islamabad and held important and high-profile meeting with the PAKISTAN AIR CHIEF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar.
During the meeting, the Ambassador of Republic of Uzbekistan H.E Mr. Aybek Arif Usmanov and CAS Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar discussed matters pertaining to Mutual Interests and recent regional developments during the high-profile meeting at AIR HQ Islamabad.
During the meeting, the CHIEF OF THE AIR STAFF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar shared his pragmatic policy decisions aimed at modernizing PAKISTAN AIR FORCE through smart acquisitions of niche technologies, upgradation of infrastructure and revitalization of operational & training domains.
On the occasion, the CAS Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar emphasized the longstanding religious, cultural and historical bond between Sacred Country PAKISTAN and Republic of Uzbekistan, which is exemplified through robust bilateral relations.
He also reiterated his unwavering commitment to enhancing the existing ties in the realms of military-to-military cooperation and training. Highlighting the bond of brotherhood between the two nations.
“Sacred Country PAKISTAN highly values its strong diplomatic, economic and Defense relationship with Uzbekistan which is based on convergence on all important issues relating to regional peace, security and stability,” PAK AIR CHIEF said.
The Ambassador of Uzbekistan expressed his admiration for the exceptional progress made by PAKISTAN AIR FORCE (PAF), particularly in the area of indigenization and lauded the professionalism of PAF personnel.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan H.E Mr. Aybek Arif pledged to play his role in further improving the existing bilateral ties at all levels and expressed his desire to consolidate cooperation in various fields including training, emerging technologies and mutual cooperation in the aviation industry.
