Steel Cutting Ceremony Of PAKISTAN NAVY Fourth And Final MILGEM JINNAH Class Stealth Warship Held At Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works:
The Steel Cutting Ceremony of PAKISTAN NAVY Fourth and Final MILGEM JINNAH Class Stealth Warship was held at Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works (KS&EW) Karachi on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY Rear Admiral Naeem Sarwar said in an official statement.
According to the details released by the PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY, the steel cutting ceremony of PAKISTAN NAVY’s 4th and final Warship held at KS&EW.
CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest.

“Steel Cutting Ceremony of 4th MILGEM JINNAH Class Ship for #PAKNAVY held at KS&EW. CNS Adm Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi graced the occasion as Chief Guest. The contract for 04 corvettes with ToT signed with #ASFAT which entails the construction of 2 corvettes at TURKEY & 2 at KS&EW, PAKISTAN,” DGPR NAVY said.
The steel cutting ceremony marked an important milestone for the construction of 4th MILGEM JINNAH Class Warship for PAKISTAN NAVY.
It is pertinent to mention that PAKISTAN NAVY has secured the deal with its Iron Brother TURKEY for the procurement of 4 numbers of state of the art and modern Stealth Warship. Under the contract, 2 of the MILGEM Stealth Warship are being constructed at Istanbul Naval Shipyard, whereas the remaining 2 warships are being constructed at PAKISTAN State owned Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works (KS&EW) Karachi.
While speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest of the Ceremony, CNS Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi, said that is a matter of pride to witness the steel cutting ceremony of PAKISTAN NAVY fourth MILGEM JINNAH Class Warships.
CNS Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi added that it is a historic occasion in the history of PAKISTAN NAVY as the Ministry of Defense Production, PAKISTAN NAVY, Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works (KS&EW) and TURKISH Defense Giant ASFAT have joined hands for the construction of MILGEM JINNAH Class Stealth Warship for PAKISTAN NAVY.
The MILGEM JINNAH Class Stealth are amongst the most technologically advanced surface combatant in the fleet of PAKISTAN NAVY that is armed with Surface, Sub-Surface, Anti-Air and Anti-Submarine Warfare weapons and sensors that are integrated with the advanced Network Centric Combat Management System.
CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi added that the today’s historical event is a defining moment to further cement the bond of Brotherhood and Friendship between Two Iron Brothers, PAKISTAN and TURKEY based on a common faith, principles, culture and values.

CNS Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi highly lauded the strong resolve, commitment and dedication of KS&EW and TURKEY’s ASFAT for successfully meeting the momentous challenge of Warship construction despite the ongoing global Covid-19 pandemic.
“The MILGEM Class Corvettes will be technologically most advanced platforms of #PakNavy, equipped with modern surface, subsurface & anti-air weapons, sensors & Combat Management System. These ships will contribute in maintaining peace, stability & balance of power in IOR,” DGPR NAVY added.
The induction of the MILGEM JINNAH Class Stealth Warship in PAKISTAN NAVY’s Arsenal will significantly help to enhance the deterrence and maritime defense capabilities of PAKISTAN NAVY.
These Stealth Warships would be a core element of PAKISTAN NAVY’s Kinetic response to successfully meet all the conventional and unconventional security challenges and it will also be helpful to maintain the balance of power in the indian Ocean Region (iOR).
Albatros NG Naval Based Air Defense (NBAD) System) Depicted For First Time in MILGEM JINNAH Class Warship:
The Computer-Generated Images (CGI) of the PAKISTAN NAVY MILGEM JINNAH Class Warship presented by PAKISTAN NAVY depicts the MBDA Albatros NG Naval Based Air Defense (NBAD) System by 6-cell VLS in the configuration of 2.x3 modules of Albatross NG maritime Launching System (MLS).

The Computer-Generated Image (CGI) confirmed that PAKISTAN NAVY has opted for the MBDA Albatros NG Naval Based Air Defense (NBAD) System for its fourth and final JINNAH Class Warship.

It is pertinent to mention that PAKISTAN NAVY has finalized the installation of MBDA Albatross NG Naval Based Air Defense (NBAD) System for its fourth and final JINNAH Class Stealth Warship. MBDA announced the first export contract of its Albatross NG NBAD system by an undisclosed international customer.

The propulsion system of PAKISTAN NAVY’s Fourth and Final MILGEM JINNAH Class Stealth Warship would be LM2500 Gas Turbine in a combined Diesel and Gas Turbine configuration with 2 numbers of diesel engines. The total propulsion power is 31, 600 Kilowatts.
