Iron Brothers PAKISTAN and CHINA Joint Naval Exercise Sea Guardians 2 Successfully Culminates At Wusong Military Port In Shanghai:
Iron Brothers PAKISTAN and CHINA four-days long Joint Naval Exercise Sea Guardians 2 between the CHINESE PEOPLE’S LIBERATION ARMY (NAVY) and PAKISTAN NAVY successfully concludes at the Wusong Military Port in Shanghai on Thursday, July 14, 2022, CHINESE PEOPLES LIBERATION ARMY NAVY (PLAN) Spokesman said in an official statement.
The Sea Guardians-2 was the second consecutive edition of Joint Naval Exercise between both Iron Brothers and All Weather Allies PAKISTAN and CHINA. The previous edition of Sea Guardians-2020 was held at the North Arabian Sea in Karachi, PAKISTAN.
PAKISTAN and CHINA Sea Guardians-2 Joint Naval Exercise was aimed at enhancing the “Joint response to the Maritime Security Threats” and the “Exercise was a normal arrangement according to an annual schedule, and it is not aimed at any third party.”
CHINESE PEOPLES LIBERATION ARMY NAAVY (PLAN) Eastern Theater Command sent its Stealth Warships, Frigates, Corvettes, Submarines and Stealth Fighter Jets to participate in the exercise.
Moreover, PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA also sent its advanced and hi-tech Airborne Early Warning and Control System (AEWACS) Aircraft and Helicopters in the exercise.
On the other hand, PAKISTAN NAVY sent its newly commissioned Stealth Warship PNS TAIMUR in the Second Edition of Sea Guardians-2 in the exercise.
PNS TAIMUR Stealth Warship is built by PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA and it was commissioned only a few weeks back.
“In this joint exercise, the participating troops from both sides demonstrated their excellent professional accomplishment and superb commanding ability. The Sea Guardians-2 PLAN – PN joint maritime exercis is of far-reaching significance for improving the capacity of the two navies in jointly responding to maritime security threats and safeguarding maritime peace, ” Sea Guardians-2 Joint Naval Director CHINESE PLAN Rear Admiral Liu Zhigang said.
PNS TAIMUR Stealth Warship is a state of the art and hi-tech stealth Warship and it is basically a PAKISTAN-Specific Variant of CHINA’s Battle Proven Type 054A Jiangkai II-Class Stealth Warship, which is known as PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA’s most advanced guided-missile frigate.
It is the very first time, after the commissioning, that PAKISTAN NAVY PNS TAIMUR Stealth Warship participated in the Joint Naval Exercise with any country.
The Sea Guardians-2 Exercise conducted in two Phases. The first phase of the Sea Guardians-2 Joint Naval Exercise consists of Offshore Planning and exchange of Professional Expertise. Whereas, the second phase of the Joint Naval Drills solely focused on Maritime Offensive Exercise, including tactical maneuvering, Full-Fledged attacks on Maritime, reinforcing damaged ships, Anti-Submarine Operations, Anti-Aircraft and Anti-Missile Operations.

During the Sea Guardians-2 Joint Naval Exercise, CHINESE PEOPLES LIBERATION ARMY NAVY (PLAN) and PAKISTAN NAVY held drills including attacking at High-Profile Maritime Targets and conduct Anti-Submarine, Air-Aircraft and Anti-Missile Operations against the enemy carrier strike group and other naval assets.
The recent edition of PAKISTAN and CHINA Joint Naval Exercise Sea Guardians-2 will significantly help to further increase and optimize the interoperability, synergy and it will also help to hone the Combat Capability and Capacity of the NAVAL FORCES of both the Iron Brother Countries PAKISTAN and CHINA.
