Air Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sworn In As 23rd CHIEF OF AIR STAFF Of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE:

Air Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu sworn in as the 23rd CHIEF OF AIR STAFF (CAS) of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE in a prestigious Change of Command Ceremony held on Friday, March 19, 2021, PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Media Wing Head DGPR PAF said in an official statement on the official Twitter account.

According to the details released by the DGPR PAF, the outgoing CHIEF OF AIR STAFF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan pinned badges on the new PAF CHIEF Air Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar and presented him the commanding sword.

On the occasion, the outgoing CHIEF OF AIR STAFF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan reviewed the guard of honor. A formation of PAKISTAN’s Pride JF-17 Thunder presented a salute to their New Chief.

In the farewell address, the outgoing PAKISTAN AIR FORCE CHIEF Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan said that it has been a privilege that PAKISTAN AIR FORCE (PAF) has served the Sacred Country PAKISTAN for over four decades and it is a matter of immense satisfaction for him.

“PAF is a strong element of national Defense and the pride of the nation,” CAS Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan said.

CAS Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan further added that PAKISTAN AIR FORCE, being the Primary and Supreme Air Force of the Sacred Country PAKISTAN, once again lived up to the expectations of the Brave and Great 220 Million PAKISTANI Nation and proved to be the guardians of the sky in the Operation Swift Retort.

CHIEF OF AIR STAFF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan further said that despite the testing and difficult times, the PAKISTAN AIR FORCE has made great efforts on its ongoing journey of excellence to become the Next Generation Air Force in 2047. CAS added that our vision requires relentless pursuit for the decades to come.

While congratulating the next CAS of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE on his new appointment, the outgoing CHIEF OF AIR STAFF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan said that the new Chief of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE is sound professional that inhibits extraordinary leadership qualities.

CAS Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan expressed his confidence that during the tenure of PAF Next Chief, the PAKISTAN AIR FORCE (PAF) would scale to the new heights of excellence.

It is pertinent to mention that the new PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Chief Air Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar hails from the Gujrat Districts and he was previously serving as the Deputy Chief of Air Staff (Administrator) at the Air HQ in Islamabad.

Air Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar joined the PAF GD (Pilot) branch back in 1986 as a fighter pilot. Moreover, he has also served in various strategic regional commands, operational airbases and fighter squadrons.
