PAK AIR CHIEF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar attended the Inaugural Ceremony of the 11th Edition of International Defense Exhibition IDEAS 2022 in Karachi on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Media Wing Head DGPR AIR FORCE Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed said in an Official Statement.
According to the details, the CHIEF OF AIR STAFF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal attended the 11th Edition of Sacred Country PAKISTAN’s biggest Defense Expo IDEAS 2022 in Karachi
“PAF is committed to developing the most innovative technologies in the country, so as to provide the most modern, effective and impregnable aerial Defense of Sacred Country PAKISTAN,” DGPR AIR FORCE Quoted CAS Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar.
During the visit, the CHIEF OF AIR STAFF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar visited the different PAF Stalls at IDEAS 2022 and reviewed the most advanced technologies displayed by the PAKISTAN AIR FORCE at its pavilion.
On the occasion, the CAS Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar also shared the details of different flagships and strategically important Project national Aerospace Science and Technology Park (NASTP) that is being spearheaded by the PAKISTAN AIR FORCE as per the vision and initiative of the CAS Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar.
The National Aerospace Science and Technology Park has been completed as per the vision and guidelines of the PAKISRAN AIR CHIEF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar.
CAS further highlighted comprehensive plan for growth of in-country capabilities in the well-established as well as emerging and disruptive technologies in Aerospace, Cyber, IT, Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Computing domains.
While sharing his reviews for the NASTP project, the CAS Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar said that “The National Aerospace Science and Technology Park will become one of the best Aerospace, Cyber & IT Clusters in the world and will transform the national landscape with design, R&D and innovation centers for emerging and disruptive technologies to foster research, innovation and development in aviation, space, IT and cyber technologies in order to accrue maximum social, economic, security and scientific dividends for the country.”
During the 4 day Sacred Country PAKISTAN’s Biggest Defense Expo, the PAKISTAN AIR FORCE is showcasing its Advanced Aerospace, Cyber Space, Avionics and other modern air warfare related technologies at its different pavilions that have been set up at the IDEAS 2022 DEFENSE Expo.
The Chief Attraction of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE (PAF) is the National Aerospace Science and Technology Park (NASTP), which being an initiative of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE (PAF) to establish Industry-Academia linkage aims to provide an eco system of essential elements required to nurture design, research, development and innovation in aviation, space and cyber domains.
It includes first national aerospace cluster, regional & university level aerospace, cyber, IT and software technology parks.

The recent commencement of the 11th Edition of Sacred Country PAKISTAN’s Biggest DEFENSE Expo IDEAS 2022 is being commemorated through the enhance the participation of PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES, including PAKISTAN ARMY, PAKISTA NAVY and PAKISTAN AIR FORCE, National and International Defense Industry, OEMs, Entrepreneurs and high level National and International Defense delegations.
More than 400 delegates and 500 International Defense Companies from 64 countries are participating in the 11th Edition of the Sacred Country PAKISTAN’s Biggest DEFENSE Expo IDEAS 2022 in Karachi.
