PAK AIR FORCE CHIEF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar, who is on an Official visit to PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA, held One on One high-profile and important meetings with Top CHINESE DEFENSE Leadership during his official Visit to PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA on Monday, 1st August 2023, PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Media Wing Head DGPR AIR FORCE said in an Official Statement.
According to the details, PAKISTAN AIR FORCE CHIEF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar held One on One important meetings with the various dignitaries.
PAKISTAN AIR FORCE CHIEF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar held One on One High-profile and Important meetings with CHINESE DEFENSE Minister and State Councilor H.E General Li Shangfu, PEOPLE’S LIBERATION ARMY AIR FORCE (PLAAF) Commander H.E General Chang Dingqiu, Chief of Equipment Development Department General Xu Xueqiang and Director General Bureau of Military Equipment and Technical Cooperation (Bometec) Major General Fan Jianjun.
During the meeting, the dignitaries discussed various matters pertaining to the Professional and Mutual Interest, including the regional security.
The Dignitaries also discussed the evolving geo-political environment and regional developments having significant implications for both the Iron Brother Countries, PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA and CHINA Iron Brother PAKISTAN.
During this historical engagement between the highest level military leadership of the two nations, the PAKISTAN AIR FORCE CHIEF said that Sacred Country PAKISTAN values its strong diplomatic and Defense ties with PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA, which are based on convergence on all important issues related to regional peace and security while reiterating strong strategic partnership in the face of shared challenges.
A smartly turned out contingent presented guard of honor to CHIEF OF THE AIR STAFF (CAS), PAKISTAN AIR FORCE on his arrival at the PLAAF Headquarters, Beijing, CHINA.
The PLAAF Commander expressed his admiration for the professionalism of the PAKISTAN AIR FORCE personnel and praised the remarkable progress made by the PAKISTAN AIR FORCE through indigenization.
The CHIEF OF THE AIR STAFF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar reiterated his unwavering commitment to enhancing the existing bilateral ties in military-to-military cooperation, strategic alliance and the training domain between both Iron Brother Countries, PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA and CHINA Iron Brother PAKISTAN.
Later, during two separate meetings between the Air Chief and General Xu Xueqiang, Chief of Equipment Development Department, and Major General Fan Jianjun, Director General Bureau of Military Equipment & Technical Cooperation (Bometec), several key points on exploring opportunities for technology transfer and collaborative development of advanced military hardware were also discussed.
On the occasion, PAK AIR FORCE CHIEF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar also met the Industrial heads of CHINESE DEFENSE Industry.
The meetings were focused on Defense acquisitions and technology collaboration between the two sides.
While Highlighting the significance of the longstanding partnership between the two countries, the PAK AIR FORCE CHIEF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar said that PAF leadership wishes to further deepen the existing aviation cooperation and exchanges with PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA in the fields of human resource and technology, so as to jointly address shared security challenges posed to the both Iron Brother Countries, CHINA Iron Brother PAKISTAN and PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA.
