PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Promotes 7 PAF Officers To The Rank Of Air Vice Marshal With Immediate Effect:

PAKISTAN AIR FORCE, the Custodians of the Sacred Airspace of Sacred Country PAKISTAN, has promoted 7 PAF Officers to the rank of Air Vice Marshals with immediate effect on Monday, August 15, 2022, PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Media Wing Head DGPR AIR FORCE Air Vice Marshal Tariq Zia said in an Official statement.

7 PAF officers promoted to rank of Air Vice Marshal with immediate effect

According to the details, PAKISTAN AIR FORCE has promoted Seven Officers of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE to the rank of Air Vice Marshal with immediate effect.

The names of the Seven newly promoted PAF Air Vice Marshals include, Air Vice Marshal Tahir Mahmood, Air Vice Marshal Hakim Raza, Air Vice Marshal Farooq Zamir Afridi, Air Vice Marshal Taimur Iqbal, Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed, Air Vice Marshal Tariq Mahmood Ghazi and Air Vice Marshal Mohsin Mahmood.

Details of the newly Promoted PAF Officers:

  1. Air Vice Marshal Tariq Mahmood Ghazi:

The newly promoted PAF Air Vice Marshal Tariq Mahmood Ghazi got commissioned in the GD(P) Bran of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE back in December 1992.

Throughout his illustrious career, the newly promoted PAF Air Vice Marshal Tariq Mahmood Ghazi has Commanded a Fighter Squadron, Flying Wing and an Operational Air Base.

He has also served as the Assistant Chief of the Air Staff (Operational Requirement & Development) and Director (General Duties Group) at the AIR HQ Islamabad.

Moreover, the newly promoted PAF Air Vice Marshal Tariq Mahmood also holds the Master’s Degree in Strategic Studies from Air War College Institute Faisal, Strategic Security Studies from USA and Defense Studies from the UK.

In recognition of his Sacred Services to his Sacred Country PAKISTAN, the newly promoted PAF Air Vice Marshal Tariq Mahmood conferred with the Coveted Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military).

  1. Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed:

The newly promoted PAF Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed was commissioned in the GD(P) Branch of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE back in December 1992.

Throughout his illustrious and distinguished career, the newly promoted PAF Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed has Commanded a Fighter Squadron and an Operational Air Base of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE.

He has also served as the Assistant Chief of the Air Staff (Operational Requirements & Development) at AIR HQ Islamabad.

The newly promoted PAF Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed holds a Master’s Degree in Military Arts from PAKISTAN Iron Brother Country CHINA and National Security & War Studies from National Defense University (NDU), Islamabad.

Moreover, he has also performed his duties in Saudi Arabia on deputation abroad.

In recognition of his Services to his Sacred Country PAKISTAN, the newly promoted PAF Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed was conferred with the Coveted Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military).

  1. Air Vice Marshal Taimur Iqbal:

The newly promoted PAF Air Vice Marshal Taimur Iqbal was commissioned in the GD(P) Branch of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE back in December 1992.

He holds a Master’s Degree in National Security and War Studies from PAKISTAN’s Prestigious National Defense University (NDU), Islamabad.

The newly promoted PAF Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed has Commanded a PAF Fighter Squadron, a Flying Wing and an Operational Air Base of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE.

He has also performed his duties in Qatar on deputation abroad.

In recognition of his Services to his Sacred Country PAKISTAN, the newly promoted PAF Air Vice Taimur Iqbal was conferred with the Coveted Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military).

  1. Air Vice Marshal Farooq Zamir Afridi:

The newly promoted PAF Air Vice Marshal Farooq Zamir Afridi was commissioned in the GD(P) Branch of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE back in December 1992.

Throughout his distinguished and illustrious Career, the newly promoted PAF Air Vice Marshal Farooq Zamir Afridi has Commanded a Fighter Squadron, a Flying Wing, an Operational Air Base of PAF and Operational Conversion Units of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE.

The newly promoted PAF Air Vice Marshal Farooq Zamir Afridi has also served as the Assistant Chief of the Air Staff (Operational Requirements & Development) at AIR HQ Islamabad.

He also holds a Masters Degree in National Security & War Studies from National Defense University (NDU), Islamabad.

  1. Air Vice Marshal Mohsin Mahmood:

The newly promoted PAF Air Vice Marshal Mohsin Mahmood was commissioned in the Engineering Branch of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE back in June 1992.

Throughout his Exemplary and Distinguished Career, the newly promoted PAF Air Vice Marshal Mohsin Commanded an Engineering Wing of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE.

He has also served as the Assistant Chief of the Air Staff (Radar Engineering) at AIR HQ Islamabad.

He is a graduate of the Air War College Institute, Faisal and holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.

Moreover, the newly promoted PAF Air Vice Marshal Mohsin also served as the Director General Avionics & Weapons (Engineering) at AIR HQ Islamabad.

In recognition of his distinguished Services to his Sacred Country PAKISTAN, the newly promoted PAF Air Vice Marshal Mohsin decorated with the prestigious Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military).

  1. Air Vice Marshal Tahir Mahmood:

The newly promoted PAF Air Vice Marshal Tahir Mahmood was commissioned in the Air Defense Branch of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE back in April 1992.

Throughout his illustrious and distinguished Career, the newly promoted PAF Air Vice Marshal Tahir Mahmood has Commanded 4 Defense Units of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE.

He has also served as the Assistant Chief of the Air Staff (Training & Evolution) at AIR HQ Islamabad.

The newly promoted newly promoted PAF Air Vice Marshal Tahir Mahmood also holds the Master’s Degree in Military Science Military Command from PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA and National Security & War Studies from the PAKISTAN’s Prestigious National Defense University (NDU), Islamabad.

Moreover, the newly promoted PAF Air Vice Marshal Tahir Mahmood has also served as the Sector Commander, North Sector, PAKISTAN AIR FORCE.

Throughout his distinguished, exemplary and illustrious career, the newly promoted PAF Air Vice Marshal Hakim Raza has Commanded a Fighter Squadron and an Operational Air Base of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE.

The newly promoted PAF Air Vice Marshal Hakim Raza holds a Master’s Degree in National Security & War Studies from PAKISTAN’s Coveted National Defense University (NDU), Islamabad.

He has also served as the Deputy Chief Project Director JF-17 Thunder and Secretary to CHIEF OF THE AIR STAFF at AIR HQ Islamabad.

Moreover, the newly promoted PAF Air Vice Marshal Hakim Raza has also served as a Directing Staff (DS) at National Defense University (NDU), Islamabad.

In recognition of his Sacred Services to his Sacred Country PAKISTAN, the newly promoted PAF Air Vice Marshal Hakim Raza awarded with the Prestigious and Coveted Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military).
