PAKISTAN ARMY participates in the first Multinational Peacekeeping Drills named as “Shared Destiny 2021” being hosted by PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head, DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement.

According to the details released by the PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head, PAKISTAN ARMY participates in first Multinational Peacekeeping Exercise “Shared Destiny 2021” being conducted at the Military Base in the Central Henan Province in CHINA.

Troops from CHINA, PAKISTAN, Mongolia and Thailand participates in the Shared Destiny 2021 10-day Military Exercise being conducted in CHINA’s Henan Province.

During the drills, the Senior Colonel Lu Jainxin told the media men invited to Military Base todemonstrate PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA’s support for the multilateral system of the United Nations”, as Beijing sought to portray its Defense Diplomacy on full display.

During the Exercise, the Blue Helmeted Soldiers took various activities, including a brawl of civilians and refugees and militants attack on UN Forces.

During the Shared Destiny 2021 Exercise, Dozens of Military Hardware, including Helicopters, Armored Vehicles, Bulldozers and Tanks with UN logo, were mobilized.

It is pertinent to mention that CHINA was the 8th-largest contributor to UN Peacekeeping troops, as 2158 Military Personnel of PAKISTAN IRON BROTHER CHINA engaged in different peacekeeping missions led by the United Nations.

Currently, the CHINESE ARMED FORCES are engaged in Lebanon, South Sudan, Democratic Republic of Congo and Mali.

CHINA is the second largest financial contributor to the United Nations with the support of 15% of the total expenses of the UN peacekeeping missions in 2020.

Since 1990’s, PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA has sent 50,000 CHINESE Troops to participate in 25 different UN Peacekeeping missions across the globe. The CHINESE Engineers have built or fixed 17,000 Kilometers of road and 300 Bridges. Moreover, the CHINESE Troops have de-mined or removed 18,000 mines in different restive parts of the world.
