PAKISTAN AIR FORCE, the Custodians of the Sacred Skies of the Sacred Country PAKISTAN, has successfully deployed the undisclosed number of Batteries of Highly Advanced and Hi-Tech CHINESE HQ-9B High To Medium Altitude Air Defense System (HQ-9B HIMADS) at an undisclosed location in Sacred Country PAKISTAN.

The news for the Acquisition of CHINESE HQ-9B High To Medium Altitude Air Defense System (HQ-9B HIMADS) was Officially confirmed by the PAKISTAN AIR FORCE in the release of the “Special Video” during the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the Sacred Country PAKISTAN.

In the video, PAKISTAN AIR FORCE portrays its different lethal and hi-tech assets, including Bayraktar TB2 Medium Altitude Long Endurance Drone, Hi-Tech CHINESE HQ-9B Medium To Long Range Surface to Air Missile System and Bayraktar AKINCI Heavyweight Long Range Combat Drone.

It is pertinent to mention that PAKISTAN ARMY, the Custodians of the Sacred Country PAKISTAN, has already acquired and deployed the Hi-Tech and Highly Advanced CHINESE HQ-9B High To Medium Altitude Air Defense System (HQ-9B HIMADS) an undisclosed location few months back in Sacred Country PAKISTAN.

The former PAKISTAN AIR FORCE CHIEF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan (Retd) has confirmed in his interview before his Retirement that PAKISTAN AIR FORCE will soon induct Long Range Air Defense System to bridge the Gap of Sacred Country PAKISTAN’s Air Defense Requirements during his Interview back in 2021.

Now, after the video, it has been confirmed that PAKISTAN AIR FORCE, the Guardians of the Sacred Skies of the Sacred Country PAKISTAN, has also deployed another version of CHINESE Long Range Air Defense System to bridge the gaps of Sacred Country PAKISTAN’s Air Defense Requirements.

The CHINESE HQ-9B High To Medium Altitude Air Defense System (HQ-9B HIMADS) deployed by the PAKISTAN AIR FORCE at an Undisclosed location in Sacred Country PAKISTAN is a potent and highly capable Long Range Air Defense System.

The CHINESE HQ-9B High To Medium Altitude Air Defense System can easily intercept various aerial and airborne threats, such as Stealth Fighter Jets, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), Helicopters, Ballistic Missiles, Cruise Missiles, Air-to-Ground Missiles and Tactical Ballistic Missiles with pinpoint precision and accuracy.

PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA has made numerous upgrades and changes to improve the technology and range of CHINESE HQ-9B High To Medium Altitude Air Defense System (HQ-9B HIMADS).

Design and Features of PAF CHINESE HQ-9B High To Medium Altitude Air Defense System

The CHINESE HQ-9B High To Medium Altitude Air Defense System (HQ-9B HIMADS), which PAKISTAN AIR FORCE has recently acquired from its Iron Brother CHINA, is an advanced Two-Stage Long Range Surface to Air Missile System (SAM) that is packed with the guidance system and multi-target anti-jamming capabilities.

The first stage of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE’s CHINESE HQ-9B High To Medium Altitude Air Defense System (HQ-9B HIMADS) has a diameter of 700 mm, while the second Stage has a diameter of 560mm.

The HQ-9B Medium to Long Range Air Defense System, which PAKISTAN AIR FORCE has recently acquired from its Iron Brother CHINA, uses the 6.8 meters long Missile that has an approx. weight of 2000 Kilograms and has a maximum reported Speed of Mach 4.2 in total.

The Missile used in the CHINESE HQ-9B High To Medium Altitude Air Defense System can carry a 180-200 Kilograms High-Precision and High-Explosive Fragmentation (HE-FRAG) and can easily destroy its designated target up to the maximum reported range of 300 Kilometers and at an altitude of 30 Kilometers in total.

The Warhead used in the Missile of the PAF CHINESE HQ-9B High To Medium Altitude Air Defense System (HQ-9B HIMADS) is also equipped with the hi-tech proximity fuse, which automatically gets activated when the missile is about 5 Kilometres away from the designated target during the launch.

The Missiles of CHINESE HQ-9B High To Medium Altitude Air Defense System (HQ-9B HIMADS) have exposed Thrust Vector Control, which makes its slightly different from the other range of S-300 Missiles.
