TURKISH AIR FORCE CHIEF His Excellency General Atilla Gulan, who is on an Official visit to Sacred Country PAKISTAN, reaffirms the Unprecedented Strategic Partnership with PAKISTAN AIR FORCE CHIEF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar at AIR HQ Islamabad on Friday, June 23, 2023, PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Media Wing Head DGPR AIR FORCE Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed said in an Official Statement.
According to the details, the TURKISH AIR FORCE CHIEF His Excellency General Atilla Gulan visits AIR Headquarters Islamabad and held One on One high-profile and important meeting with the PAK AIR FORCE CHIEF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar.
Upon his arrival at the AIR HQ Islamabad, the TURKISH AIR FORCE CHIEF His Excellency General Atilla Gulan was Warmly Greeted, Welcomed and Received by the PAKISTAN AIR CHIEF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar.
A smartly turned out contingent of the PAKISTAN AIR FORCE (PAF) presented a Guard of Honor to the visiting dignitary TURKISH AIR FORCE CHIEF His Excellency General Atilla Gulan.
The visiting dignitary TURKISH AIR FORCE CHIEF His Excellency General Atilla Gulan was introduced to the Principal Staff Officers at the AIR Headquarters Islamabad.
The TURKISH AIR FORCE CHIEF H.E General Atilla Gulan laid Floral Wreath at the Martyrs Monument and paid Rich and Glorious Tribute to the Martyrs of the Sacred Country PAKISTAN against their ongoing fight against the indian and iranian state backed and state funded terrorism in Sacred Country PAKISTAN.
Later, the TURKISH AIR FORCE CHIEF His Excellency General Atilla Gulan held One on One high-profile and important meeting with the PAKISTAN AIR FORCE CHIEF in his Office at AIR HQ Islamabad.
Both the dignitaries also discussed the several Key areas of “Mutual and Professional Interest” along with regional developments.
During the meeting, PAK AIR FORCE CHIEF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar shared broad contours of PAF’s modernization plan of smart acquisitions from allied countries, upgradation of infrastructure and revamping of training.
During the meeting, both the COMMANDERS of the Brotherly ISLAMIC COUNTRIES, TURKISH AIR FORCE CHIEF H.E General Atilla Gulan and PAK AIR FORCE CHIEF Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar, reaffirmed the Unprecedented Strategic Partnership between both Iron Brother Countries, Sacred Country PAKISTAN and PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA.
PAK AIR FORCE CHIEF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar highlighted that both the countries enjoy long-standing religious and historic relationship which is manifested through unprecedented strategic partnership.
He also reiterated his resolve to further enhance the existing bilateral ties in military-to-military cooperation, strategic alliance and the training domain.
PAK AIR FORCE CHIEF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar further said, “Sacred Country PAKISTAN Highly Values its strong diplomatic, economic and Defense relationship with TURKIYE, which is based on convergence on all important issues relating to regional peace, security and stability.”
“The Two ISLAMIC Iron Brotherly countries, Sacred Country PAKISTAN and PAKISTAN Iron Brother TURKIYE, have never left each other stranded in times of need and PAKISTAN AIR FORCE will remain committed to providing training and capacity-building assistance to the TURKISH AIR FORCE,” he continued.
CAS Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar further remarked that PAF pilots are playing an active role in training TURKISH aircrew on a variety of aircraft, including trainers and fighters.
TURKISH AIR FORCE CHIEF His Excellency General Atilla Gulan, commended the professionalism of PAF and acknowledged its rising indigenous capacity in the aviation industry.
The visiting dignitary also expressed keen interest in the National Aerospace Science and Technology Park which is being spearheaded by PAKISTAN AIR FORCE, and appreciated the unwavering commitment of the Air Chief in making the project a huge success.
The visiting dignitary highlighted that both the countries enjoy cordial relations and reiterated his resolve to further enhance the existing bilateral ties between the two brotherly countries.
Both the commanders agreed to explore further avenues of bilateral cooperation including collaboration for joint production of military hardware with special focus on fifth-generation aircraft, including PAKISTAN and TURKIYE Fifth Generation Fighter Aircraft KAAN, and several unmanned aerial combat platforms.
During his visit, the Government of PAKISTAN conferred Nishan-E-Imtiaz (Military) upon General Atilla Gulan, which is the highest Non-Operational Military Award, in recognition of further strengthening the brotherly Bonds amongst the Two Iron Brother Countries, PAKISTAN Iron Brother TURKIYE and Sacred Country PAKISTAN.

TURKISH AIR FORCE CHIEF General Atilla Gulan also visited different installations and technological infrastructure established at Air Headquarters, Islamabad, including PAF’s National ISR and Integrated Air Operations Centre (NIIAOC) and PAF’s Cyber Command, where he was briefed about the operational capabilities and ongoing projects of PAF’s modernization drive.
The recent visit of the TURKISH AIR FORCE CHIEF General Atilla Gulan and his important meeting with PAKISTAN AIR FORCE CHIEF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar will help to further strengthen the existing Defense and Security relationship between the AIR, ARMED and NAVAL FORCES of both the Iron Brother Countries, PAKISTAN Iron Brother TURKIYE and Sacred Country PAKISTAN.
