Ambassador Of Morocco Lauds PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES Role For Regional Peace and Stability:
Ambassador of Morocco to PAKISTAN His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Karmoune held important meting with CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at Generals Headquarters (GHQ), Rawalpindi on Monday, January 24, 2022, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement.
According to the details, the Moroccan Envoy to PAKISTAN visits GHQ Rawalpindi and meets with PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
During the meeting, both the dignitaries discussed different matters pertaining to Bilateral Defense, mutual interest and regional security situation at GHQ Islamabad.
“We earnestly look forward to enhance mutually beneficial multi-domain relations based on common interests,” DG ISPR Quoted COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa said.
On the occasion, the COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that PAKISTAN highly valued its relations with the Brotherly ISLAMIC country Morocco in different spheres and domains, including Security and Defense.
During the meeting, the visiting dignitary highly appreciated the sincere role of PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES in stabilizing and handling the Afghan situation and efforts to maintain regional peace and stability.
PAK ARMY CHIEF General Qamar Javed Bajwa has reaffirmed the unshakable resolve and commitment to cooperate with all its International Partners and Allied Countries to ensure a stable and prosperous future for the Afghan People.
“The visiting dignitary appreciated PAKISTAN’s role in the Afghan situation, efforts for regional stability and pledged to play his role for further improvement in diplomatic cooperation with PAKISTAN at all levels,” DG ISPR added in the statement.
Earlier in January, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa meets with the British High Commissioner Christian Turner at GHQ Rawalpindi.
During the meeting, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that the assistance to Afghanistan from the International Community is imperative to avert the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan.
On the occasion, the British High Commissioner appreciated the efforts of PAKISTAN ARMY for maintaining eternal peace and security in the region, particularly in handling the Afghan situation after the humiliating defeat of US and allied forces in nearly two decade war.
