PAKISTAN NAVY Inducts PNS TUGHRIL Alpha Guided Missile Stealth Warship and WS-61 Sea King Anti-Submarine Warfare Helicopters In Its Combat Fleet:
PAKISTAN NAVY inducts the PNS TUGHRIL Type 054 A/P Alpha-Guided Missile Stealth Warship, which PAKISTAN acquired from its Iron Brother CHINA, and the fleet of WS-61 Sea King Anti-Submarine Helicopters in its Combat Fleet in a prestigious ceremony held in Karachi on Monday, January 24, 2022, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY Rear Admiral Naeem Sarwar said in an official statement.
According to the details, PAKISTAN NAVY has inducted the PNS TUGHRIL Alpha-Guided Missile Stealth Warship from its Iron Brother CHINA and the induct the fleet of Sea King Anti-Submarine Warfare Helicopters in its fleet to maintain a formidable force at sea.
The WS-61 Sea King Anti-Submarine Warfare Helicopters would be inducted into the No. 111 Squadron of the PAKISTAN NAVAL Air Arm.
President of the ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF PAKISTAN graced the occasion as the Chief Guest of the Ceremony.
While speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest said that the Sacred Country PAKISTAN is a Peace loving country and has no nefarious designs against any country, however, the Sacred Country PAKISTAN is fully capable to thwart all the designs of the inimical forces with full might.
The PNS TUGHRIL Stealth Warship is one of the total four numbers of Warships of PAKISTAN NAVY built by PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA. It is basically a multi-mission and most capable Warship in the entire fleet of PAKISTAN NAVY.
The PNS TUGHRIL Stealth Warship is armed with the lethal Surface to Surface Missiles (SSM), Surface to Air Missiles (SAM) and Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Missiles.
The PNS TUGHRIL Stealth Warship is fully capable to perform any type of complex Maritime Operation at high Sea due to the installation of the different sensors and weapons.
“The ship is capable of enormous firepower & surveillance potentials. Construction of PN Ship at CHINA is the testimony of PAKISTAN-CHINA all-weather friendship,” DGPR NAVY said.
The total weight of the PNS TUGHRIL Stealth Warship is 4,000 Tonnes and 440 feet long Warship that are armed with the 32-cell Vertical Launch System (VLS) that consists of state of the art HHQ-16 Surface to Air Missile (SAM) Systems and YU-8 Anti-Submarine Rockets, 2×4 Numbers of CM-302 Supersonic Anti-Ship Cruise Missiles, 2 x 6 types Anti-Submarine Rocket Launchers, 2 x 3 Anti-Submarine Torpedo Launchers, a PJ-26 76mm Main Naval Gun, two Type 1130 Close In Weapons System (CIWS) and two Type 726-4-18-Tube Decoy Rocket Launchers.

The PNS TUGHRIL Stealth Warship is also equipped with the multifunctional Electronically Scanned Array Radar and state of the art Combat Management System that is fully capable of integrated Naval Battlegroup formation operation with PAKISTAN NAVY Combat Fleet.
The induction of these state of the art Stealth Warship and cutting-edge Sea King Anti-Submarine Helicopters will significantly add the much-needed punch to PAKISTAN NAVY for its offensive capability against the indian navy in the indian Ocean in the future potential war.

It is pertinent to mention that back in 2017, PAKISTAN NAVY has cut the Defense Deal for the procurement of total Four numbers of state of the Art Type 054A A/P Stealth Warship with its Iron Brother CHINA with Complete Transfer of Technology (ToT).
PAKISTAN NAVY has also acquired the Fleet of CHINESE Highly Advanced Z-9D Anti-Submarine Warfare Helicopters from Iron Brother CHINA. These ASW Helicopters would be used on the newly inducted PNS TUGHRIL Alpha-Guided Missile Stealth Warship.
PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA has launched the first Stealth Warship for PAKISTAN NAVY back in August 2020, that is followed by the Second Stealth Warship in January 2021 at the CHINA’s State Owned Hudong Zhonghua Shipyard in Shanghai, CHINA.
