CHINESE Envoy H.E Mr. Nong Rong And COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa Discusses CPEC And Regional Security At GHQ Rawalpindi:

CHINESE Ambassador to PAKISTAN His Excellency Mr. Nong Rong and CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa discusses CHINA PAKISTAN ECONOMIC CORRIDOR (CPEC) and regional Security at General Headquarters (GHQ) Rawalpindi on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement.

According to the details released by the PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head, CHINESE Envoy to PAKISTAN His Excellency Mr. Nong Rong visited General Headquarters (GHQ) and meets with PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

During the meeting, both the dignitaries discussed the matters pertaining to professional and mutual interests, including progress on multi-billion CHINA PAKISTAN Economic Corridor (CPEC), Bilateral Defense Collaborations and the recent regional security situation.

Both the dignitaries also discussed the ways to further enhance the existing Bilateral Defense Relations between both the Iron Brother Countries, PAKISTAN and CHINA.

“Visiting dignitary appreciated PAKISTAN’s sincere efforts for peace and stability in the region. He reiterated that CHINA shall continue to support PAKISTAN as a strategic partner,” DG ISPR said.

It is pertinent to mention that PAKISTAN ARMY celebrated the 94th Anniversary of the founding PEOPLE’s LIBERATION ARMY (PLA) at the General Headquarters (GHQ) Rawalpindi.

On the occasion, PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa categorically made it clear that both the PAKISTANI and CHINESE ARMED FORCES will continue to pursue and safeguard the collective interests in the region.

On the occasion, the CHINESE Ambassador to PAKISTAN His Excellency Mr. Nong Rong, Defense Attaché Major General Chen Wenrong and Senior Officials and Officers from the CHIENSE Embassy and the TRI-ARMED SERVICES of PAKISTAN attended the prestigious event.

COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa further added that the both ARMED FORCES PAKISTAN ARMY and PEOPLE’s LIBERATION ARMY (PLA) are brother in Arms.

The recent high-profile visit of CHINESE Ambassador to PAKISTAN H.E Mr. Nong Rong will help to further augment the Bilateral Defense Collaborations between both the Iron Brother Countries, PAKISTAN and CHINA, in different domains including Defense.
