CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa, who is on an important Two Day official visit to Qatar, held important meetings with Emir of the State of Qatar His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani and other Senior Military And Civil Leadership of Qatar on Friday, January 29, 2021, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement on the official Account.

“Later, COAS called on His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani – Emir of the State of Qatar, His Excellency Doctor Khalid Bin Muhammad Al-Attiya – Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Defense Affairs and Lieutenant General (Pilot) Ghanim Bin Shaheen Al-Ghanim – Chief of Staff Qatar Armed Forces. During the meetings, matters of mutual interest, defense & security cooperation and regional geo-political environment were discussed,” DG ISPR said.

During all the meetings, all the dignitaries discuss matters of mutual interest and recent regional geo-political situation.

COAS General Bajwa and all the dignitaries also discuss various domains and possibilities to further increase the existing Defense and Security Cooperation between the Armed, Naval And Air Forces of both the Brotherly Countries.

Top Qatari Civil and Military Leadership reiterated the firm resolve and commitment that both Iron Brother Countries, PAKISTAN and Qatar, share decades-long Brotherly relations spanning on ISLAMIC Values, rich Culture and Defense Cooperation.

During the visit, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa also witnessed the passing out parade at Ahmed Bin Muhammad Military College, Doha, Qatar.

On the occasion, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa lauded and appreciated the high level of standards of the institution and the role of the institution towards the grooming and training of young cadets that help to take of the future security challenges and battlefield.

Qatar is an important Brotherly country of PAKISTAN and the recent high-profile visit of the CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa will significantly help to further boost and enhance the Bilateral Defense relations between both the Brotherly Countries, PAKISTAN and Qatar.
