PAK ARMY CHIEF, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has expressed his heartfelt and deep condolence over the sad demise of Father of PAKISTAN Nuclear Program and Top Nuclear Scientist Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan on Sunday, October 11, 2021, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement.

According to the details released by the PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head, the DG ISPR, PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF General Qamar Javed Bajwa has expressed his heartfelt condolence over the sad demise of Architect of PAKISTAN’s Nuclear Program Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan.

“Dr Qadeer Khan rendered invaluable services to strengthen PAKISTAN’s defense,” COAS General Bajwa said.

It is pertinent to mention that the Architect of PAKISTAN’s Nuclear Program Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan breathes his last at the age of 85 in Islamabad on Sunday, October 10, 2021. Later, he was buried at the H-8 Graveyard with complete State Honor.

The funeral prayer of Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan was offered at the Faisal Mosque, which was attended by the Acting President of PAKISTAN, Federal Ministers, Parliamentarians, Civil and Military Officers, including a large number of public gathering.

In the condolence message issues by the PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF General Qamar Javed Bajwa, he prayed, “Dr Qadeer Khan rendered invaluable services to strengthen PAKISTAN’s defense.”

CHAIRMAN JOINT CHIEFS OF STAFF COMMITTEE (CJCSC) General Nadeem Raza, PAKISTAN AIR FORCE CHIEF, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar, PAKISTAN NAVAL CHIEF, Admiral Muhammad Ajmal Khan Niazi and CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa also expressed their heartfelt condolence over the sad demise of PAKISTAN’s Top Nuclear Scientist, Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan.
