COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa Held One On One Important Meeting With President Of AZERBAIJAN H.E Mr. Ilham Aliyev During Official Visit To AZERBAIJAN:
PAK ARMY CHIEF, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa, who is on an official visit to Iron Brother Country AZERBAIJAN, held One on One important meeting with President of the Republic of AZERBAIJAN His Excellency Mr. Ilham Aliyev at Baku on Monday, June 21, 2021, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement.
According to the details released by the PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa held important meetings with the President of the Republic of AZERBAIJAN Mr. Ilham Aliyev and Minister of Defense of the Republic of AZERBAIJAN H.E Colonel General Hasanov Zakir Asgar Oglu.
During the meetings, all the dignitaries discuss matters pertaining to the recent regional security, mutual interest and the recent developments in the Afghan Peace Process.
All the dignitaries also discussed the various measures to further enhance the Bilateral Security and Defense Cooperation between the ARMED, NAVAL and AIR FORCES of both the Iron Brother Countries, PAKISTAN and AZERBAIJAN.
On the occasion, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa categorically made it clear that both Iron Brother Countries AZERBAIJAN and PAKISTAN share common values based on rich religious, historical and cultural affinities.
“COAS said that PAKISTAN and AZERBAIJAN share common values based on rich cultural, religious and historical affinities and have tremendous geo-strategic significance / potential for mutually beneficial and enhanced cooperation at all forums,” DG ISPR said.
COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa also added that both Iron Brothers PAKISTAN and AZERBAIJAN have tremendous geo-strategic significance and potential for mutually beneficial cooperation at all forums.
“COAS also expressed PAKISTAN ARMY’s desire to further enhance bilateral military cooperation and regional partnership between the two countries,” DG ISPR added.
CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa further expressed the desire and wish of PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES to further enhance the regional partnership and bilateral military cooperation between the two Iron Brother Countries PAKISTAN and AZERBAIJAN.

Chief of Army Staff (#COAS) of #Pakistan has visited also the Alley of Shahids (#Martyrs) in #Baku??and saluted Shahids.

Earlier on the arrival at the Ministry of Defense, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa was presented a Guard of Honor by the smartly turned out Military Contingent of AZERBAIJAN ARMED FORCES.
