COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa Held One On One Important Meetings With Prime Minister And Top Defense Officials Of Ukraine:
CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa held One on One important meetings with the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Strategic Industries for Ukraine during important Official visit to Ukraine on Thursday, May 20, 2021, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement.
According to the details released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), PAK ARMY CHIEF, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF, who is on an official visit to Ukraine, held One on One important meetings with the Ukrainian Prime Minister H.E Mr. Shmyhal Denys, Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister H.E Mr. Uruskyi Oleh and Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine.
“General Qamar Javed Bajwa, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) while on official visit to Ukraine, visited Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine where he held separate meetings with H.E. Mr Shmyhal Denys – Prime Minister of Ukraine and H.E. Mr Uruskyi Oleh – Deputy Prime Minister & Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine,” DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said.

During the meetings, all the dignitaries discussed various matters pertaining of mutual interest and the recent developments in the Afghan Peace Process.
The dignitaries also discussed the various measures on further enhancing and strengthening the Bilateral Defense Ties between PAKISTAN and Ukraine.

On the occasion, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that PAKISTAN is keen to further enhance and strengthen the Bilateral Defense Ties with Ukraine.

“COAS said that PAKISTAN attaches great importance to furthering bilateral relations with Ukraine and believes that both nations would develop meaningful and long term relationship through enhanced cooperation,” DG ISPR quoted COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa further added that both friendly countries, PAKISTAN and Ukraine, would develop the long term meaningful relationship through enhanced cooperation in different spheres, including Defense.
During the occasion, the dignitaries highly acknowledged the sincere contributions and role played by PAKISTAN for the ongoing development of Afghan Peace Process.
