COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa Held One On One Important Meetings With Ukrainian Defense Minister And Top Leadership Of Ukrainian Armed Forces:
PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES CHIEF, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa, who is on an Official Visit to Ukraine, held One on One important meeting with Ukraine Defense Minister and Top Ukrainian Armed Forces Leadership on Thursday, May 20, 2021, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement on the official Twitter account.
According to the details released by the PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head, the Inter-Services Public Relations or ISPR, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa held One on One Important meetings with Minister of Defense of Ukraine Mr. Taran Adnrii, Chief of General Staff (CGS) Lieutenant General Serhii Korniichuk, Commander of the Army of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Lieutenant General Oleksandr Syrskyi and Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Mr. Avakov Arsen.
On the arrival, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa was presented the Guard of Honor by smartly turned out military contingent of Ukraine Armed Forces.
During the meetings, both the dignitaries discuss different matters pertaining of professional and mutual interests, recent regional security and the ongoing developments of the Afghan Peace Process.
“Besides mutual and professional interests, matters of defence and security collaboration between both countries and overall regional security situation were discussed, during the meetings,” DG ISPR said.
All the dignitaries also discussed the various measures on further strengthening and enhancing the bilateral Defense Ties and Security cooperation between both the friendly countries, PAKISTAN and Ukraine.
Both the sides fully greed to further optimize and strengthen the Bilateral Military Ties, particularly in the spheres of defense production, intelligence, counter terrorism and training.
“Both sides agreed to further optimize military to military ties particularly in defence production, training, counter terrorism and intelligence domains,” DG ISPR added.

During the meetings, the dignitaries highly acknowledged and lauded the sincere and unbiased efforts of PAKISTAN for bringing the peace and stability in the region.
The dignitaries also reiterated the firm resolve, commitment and dedication of Ukraine for enhancing the bilateral relations with PAKISTAN in all the domains.
