PAK ARMY CHIEF, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa vows that Threats of Hybrid Asymmetrical Warfare must be thwarted effectively in order to successfully cope up with the regional security environment on Monday, September 13, 2021, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement.

According to the details released by the PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa gave these remarks during a visit to the Corps Headquarters Karachi.

On arrival PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF General Qamar Javed Bajwa was given the detailed briefing on the training, combat preparedness, strategic readiness and administrative matters of the Corps.

During the briefing, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa highly briefed and lauded the prevailing internal security situation, especially the impressive performance of PAKISTAN ARMY and PAKISTAN Rangers efforts to assist the other Law Enforcement Agencies to maintain law and order situation in the province.

During the visit, PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF General Qamar Javed Bajwa also thoroughly briefed on the multifaceted assistance provided by the PAKISTAN ARMY for the implementation of the Karachi Transformation Plan or KPT. The Karachi Transformation Plan is a critical mega initiative to uplift he the socio economic progress of PAKISTAN’s Biggest metropolis, Karachi.

PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF also visited the Khatoon-e-PAKISTAN Government High School Karachi, which is an initiative of Zindagi Trust.

During the visit to the School, PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF General Qamar Javed Bajwa highly lauded the administration of the School to for providing International facilities and for maintaining high standards of education for the underprivileged segment of the society.

Later, PAK ARMY CHIEF General Qamar Javed Bajwa also held interaction with the families of the Martyrs of PAKISTAN ARMY, Sindh Rangers and other Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) of the province, including Intelligence, Anti-Narcotics Forces, Airport Security Force and the Sindh Police.

During the interaction with the families of the Martyrs, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa inquired about their well being.

On the occasion, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa directed all the formations to take all the necessary measures for the welfare of the families of the Martyrs, who shed their Sacred Blood for this Sacred Country PAKISTAN.

Earlier on arrival at the Karachi Corps Headquarters, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa was warmly greeted, welcomed and received by the Commander Karachi Corps Lieutenant General Nadeem Ahmed Anjum.
