COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa Vows Self-reliance Is The Hallmark Of Any Country And PAKISTAN ARMY Is Proud Of It:

PAK ARMY CHIEF, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa vows that self-reliance is the hallmark of any country and PAKISTAN ARMY, as the premier Defense Institution of Sacred Country PAKISTAN, is proud of it. He gave these remarks during the visit of PAKISTAN’s State-owned Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement.

According to the details, PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT), where he witnessed the various undergoing and upcoming defense-related projects.

During the visit, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa was thoroughly briefed about the progress of ongoing, future and revamping measures being taken by the HIT production units.

CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa witnessed the indigenously developed 155mm Artillery Gun Barrel, remote weapon systems for tanks, ballistic / IED protection of military vehicles and manufacturing/upgradation of various tanks and Armored Personnel Carriers (APCs).

COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the various facilities of Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) during the visit and he witnessed the recently indigenously developed enhanced protection solutions.

“COAS visited various facilities of HIT and witnessed recently developed enhanced protection solutions and remote weapon systems for tanks, indigenously developed 155 mm Artillery gun barrel, ballistic / IED protection of military vehicles and manufacturing, rebuild and upgradation of tanks and Armored Personnel Carriers (APCs),” DG ISPR said.

During the high-profile visit, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa highly lauded the distinctive and remarkable efforts of Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) for attaining the policy of self-reliance and self-sufficiency in the field of modern defense technologies, including artillery guns, modern Main Battle Tanks and ballistic protection solutions for vehicles.

On the occasion, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa expressed his deep satisfaction and confidence over the professional expertise of HIT Staff and Admin of transforming the HIT into a modern defense industry solution provider to successfully meet all the defense and security requirements of Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) and PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES.

“Self-reliance in defense production is the hall mark of any country and We are proud of the milestones achieved towards that end,” DG ISPR quoted COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

Earlier, on arrival at the PAKISTAN’s State-owned Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT), COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa was warmly welcomed, received and greeted by the Chairman Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) Major General Syed Aamer Raza.
